Yeah you're right. Ryder, Bourque, Diaz, Weber, and Prust being injured has nothing to do with it.

Just call him up, give him some confidence, tell him we like him....
Because MTL wants to reward guys for playing well in Hamilton. It creates a positive atmosphere in the minors.

but i doubt he sees it that way, as i'm sure he's got to be frustrated with not only his struggles to produce but the teams struggles as well since they are one of the worst teams in the league. So to see others go up and he remains and continues to struggle must be really tough.

I'd also disagree and say it's very much a knock on Leblanc as it should be. He's been terrible this year and im sure he knows it too well. Hopefully he can use this over the summer to work harder and build off it next year, his final one in the AHL since he'll have to clear waivers the following season.

Blunden is a big body, that can can pop the odd one in. Curious to see how well he plays.

He wasn't THAT bad last year considering the situation. I also hope he does well. He could turn out to be an option for the fourth line.

Bluden is our forward who'll love to hit and hit everything that moves. He'll help punish the opposing dman.

IMO we could use another player like Prust who loves to hit. It's kinda why I hope the habs target Boyle (if he's cheap)

Though, it seems when players come to the habs they're less physical. Hopefully Therrien's system will allow him to continue to be physical if we were to acquire him.

He's also great on faceoffs and responsible defensively.

Why so much hate for Blunden? He's a bottom-6er for sure, but I never thought he played badly for that role. Did I miss something?

Yeah, almost everytime he was going for the hit he was the one falling.

To be fair, he tried to hit Henrique twice. Henrique is a strong guy.

He did well.

Blunden was Blunden. He's a 4th liner who works hard, hits people and scores a goal here or there. Total depth player, but he always brings energy. Wish he had a little more hockey sense especially on the defensive side of the game then he could replace Moen. Not going to happen though. Too bad, but he's fine as an injury fill-in.

That mean that Bourque or Prust are close to be ready?

I like Blunden, he's a decent fill-in when we need it.

But dammit does that mean I got my Blunden jersey for nothing?

You nailed it, he's the perfect 13th forward to have.
