This game is going to be like two guys insisting on letting the other go through a door first.

"No no, you can have the puck and win."
"Oh no, I insist that you should have it!"
"Really? I feel bad, you should have it. Go on."

Can we stop with the hashtag thing now? Please?

So is this one of those swing games between 2nd overall in the draft and not? Will they look back on this in later years like the game that knocked the Pens out of the playoffs, thus landing them Jagr at their draft position while the Isles wound up with Scott Scissons. Yes. Scott "who the **** is that" Scissons.

Took the trip to Washington for the game to visit my friend and now it sucks because it has massive draft implications. It'd be easier if the two teams weren't so awful

I'll be the bad guy here:
Sabres win in a rout 6-1.
Darcy hangs up the phone on stafford trade partner.
Gets working on keeping the team intact for one more glorious season

I normally don't visit the other team's game threads, but I thought a little trash talk was appropriate here:

There's no chance that the Sabres lose tonight. You guys are not as good at sucking as the Caps are. Just look at the standings if you want proof.

Joel Ward seems to be the only scorer on Washington this season. As a black hockey fan, I'm happy for that in a way.

We have 1 more point but 1 more game played than you guys, I'd say that's about equal suckage.

Big game for our draft position.

Seeing a huge game from OV tonight, 2 goals and 2 assists to lead the Caps over Buffalo.

A loss puts us in position to draft 2nd overall

Dude....Myers will be the worst player on the ice tonight AINEC! As a CAPS fan you probably don't watch my team enough to know how awful this team really is. We have hidden gems like John Scott, who is worth at least your teams 7th round pick in 2016!

This game is going to be like watching a classroom of 6 year olds stack building blocks, while in the adjacent rooms of the halls of the NHL academy, everyone else is doing calculus.

However, there were no line rushes to see the combos and only 5 D present with Sekera absent. Pysyk does have a stall though, so he's the recall it would seem.
