I'm sure Oiler fans get this a lot, but why does the ice at Rexall look like utter crap?

The Oiler ice has been slowly deteriorating ever since our old ice guy went on to become the NHL's guy. He does the ice for Winter Classics and whatever else now. It doesn't help that all of the equipment is aging and pretty much everything to do with Rexall is falling apart. A new arena solves many of these issues.

I've looks like crap because of the Brier curling tournament which also is the reason that the Oilers had their 9 game road trip over 17 days.

But ice usually isnt too great on normal days.

That's what people said last year, and he wasn't the reason they couldn't get past the Coyotes.

With that said, Rinne was pulled early in last night's game.

edit: and apparently was pulled tonight. I just got home and turned it on.

We suck. Plus Babcock and Holland are clueless.

To top it off we're probably the most boring team to watch in the league outside of Datsyuk.

The CBJ????

Just kidding, although the CBJ have not been a door mat for Red Wing padding points this season they are not the same team after losing so many players.

Detroit's announcers remind me of these guys:

They just suck the excitement out of watching the game.

Inept coaching/management. And just not a talented team. They have been over achieving to this point. They will fall to the bottom of the conference in the coming weeks and hopefully it will be cause for change.

Mick makes the games really fun to watch. It's tough to be entertaining when the Wings can't score more than 1 goal anymore.

The Detroit announcers have never been entertaining to me. I guess if I were a Wings fan or a neutral fan it might be a different story.
