They don't. He was just being a moron. He turned around and whipped the puck off the boards without even looking. The worst thing is that he didn't look before he got the puck either.

I think his linemates is a huge reason for his average play, he has some awful players with him

It's not like he's outplaying them. Of the prospects, Archibald is by far the biggest factor on games right now.

---

Connauton had an up and down game — looked great when he was trying to create stuff in the late 2nd and most of the 3rd, but looked horrible in the 1st and early 2nd. Game was going better until he made that dumb mistake that cost the team a goal.

My guess would be he is having a hard time mentally switching from the large ice of the SEL.

Yeah, seems the same with Blomstrand from the East-West comments, that style of game is a lot easier to play with the big ice. They'll both be fine in a few weeks.

Wolves are playing tonight. 1-1 early in the 1st period. Jensen with the goal from Groulx and Sweat.

It was a tip in goal at ES with Jensen out in front of the goalie.

Probably didn't tip it then. Looked like he might've and there was no replays so hard to tell. Either way, he was a factor by screening the goalie and looks like he got an assist on it.

Apparently Nicklas Jensen scored a highlight reel goal in the 6th round of the shootout to win it.

He pulled a Forsberg/J. Jokinen. Good to know he has that in his arsenal.

Kid has hands. Sounds like he needs some seasoning before he's ready though. Next season call-up, Orca, Feeb and Tiranis?

With a good off-season he could possibly be ready to start the year but more likely is that he starts in Chicago and then makes his way to Vancouver as a call-up. Don't think he's going to be a factor this season barring a major break-out in his all-around play.

Jensen is going to be a star, and it's almost certain that he will start in the NHL next season.

Gillis stated that they will be letting go some veterans to make room for younger players, especially with the cap salary going down next season. I anticipate Corrado and Jensen being the rookies on the team for next season.

I don't understand why you would think Gillis' M.O. is to rush guys into the NHL despite the fact that he's never done it and speaks constantly about player development. He isn't all of a sudden going to plunk a raw rookie like Corrado into his group of 6 d-men despite the fact that some fans think it would be sexy and exciting to have 2 shiny new rookies in the lineup.

Jensen stands a bit better chance having played in the SEL this season but even then that spot isn't gift wrapped for him despite all of the zany hype going on about him. He's a good young player that has proven absolutely nothing in N America at this point. A lot of signs point to him being a good top 6 player in the future, but currently, he hasn't even stood out much in the AHL. There's no way he fast tracks to the NHL at this point. If all of a sudden something clicks and he starts to dominate down there then maybe.

Slick move; nice to hear he had a strong game. String together a few more of those and he may well get a call-up.
