No worries, Jeff. Dubnyk should have had it. Short side? Weaksauce.

Not sure whether to or .

That's pretty solid, except for one guy screwing up horribly.
Nowadays that's easy against the Wings.

That's never easy against anyone. Their defence is not the issue. It is just more desirable to blame them when RNH has 2 goals and Eberle only has 18 points.

Unrelated but crazy stat mentioned on the Oilers radio broadcast.

In Detroits last 43 regular season games against the Oilers dating back 11 seasons now. The Red Wings have points in 41 of those games....

I was more looking a the 34 shots per game this defence allows on regular basis. That's not very good you know.

Shot don't count for anything but a shot total, which counts for nothing, you know.

21st in goals against.

24th in goals for.

Who gets the blame again? Always the D. Try scoring some even strength friggin goals once in awhile.

It happens. At least it wasn't the finals.

He must have Kronwall on his fantasy team.

So it's the forwards that can't play correctly in the dzone ? To be dead last in shot against per game, I think you need at least a few guys to no doing it right.

And Devan Dubnyk deserves some credit for his team being at the 21st place in goals against IMO.

We've all done something similar as defensemen. Helpless feeling.

But a good low shot with a quick release if the boys I coach shoot like that this weekend, we will be off to Nationals!!

Quick release. Give him a run as a winger.

That stuck out to me as well. Appeared to be Sam Gagner. Didn't even pretend to be interested in checking him, and skated lazily into his end after the pass. And we complain about Mule coasting periodically...

Not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Panicked and tried to shoot it behind the net and missed.
