And Devan Dubnyk deserves some credit for his team being at the 21st place in goals against IMO.
Dubnyk is okay most nights, but unfortunately he is good for one gut punch goal every game, always at the worst possible time.

And no, the forwards are crap in the dzone. Easily worst in the league. From Ebs to Yak, they are not good in their own end. The poor d-men are usually hung out to dry.

Abdelkader gets taken off Datsyuk's line and Datsyuk scores his first goal in 12 games...

I'm seeing a correlation there...

Gagner didn't even take a single stride. Just had a nice relaxed view of the entire play.

To add to that, he ends up on the highlight reels a second time with Datsyuk dancing around him. Not a good night to be Petry.

Stuff the puck behind the net...and he missed.

nice finish there.

Still doesn't top this though. I was in tears laughing at this one.
Messi would be proud.

Ugh. I can't stand his stupid face. Your team just tied a record for most "here's you recompense for mediocrity" picks, that's not a good thing.

This one is ancient now but I think it tops Petry's mistake by a long shot

With the exception of the 06 miracle playoff run, EDM has been horrible for over a decade now. Many teams have ridiculous numbers and winning records against this team. It sucks.

This team played a decent 40 minutes, but then Kreuger is a genius and decides to make his team sit back and defend. Defend? I get it, defense is important, but that's not what this team's style is. It's supposed to be them using their speed to break down their opposition. (when they decide to actually do it). Sitting back cost them the game. They will only win if they keep their foot on the gas night in and night out. But, they decide to play a few good games and then a few bad ones. Have to be consistent in their play to win. Until they do, they aren't going to be taken seriously or improve.

I feel bad for Petry. He's been very consistent this season. Hasn't made many mistakes. Tonight I guess he was due. haha. Poor guy.

This was just a overall bad game for Petry, first the goal, and then he gets undressed by Datsyuk. You could tell he was pretty frustrated and just wanted the day to be over. Oh well its happens to the best of them.

Bigger story is how the Oilers blew that 2 0 lead within the last 15 minutes, and how the only guy on the Oilers to show up was Taylor Hall. Man does that team ever look awful, coach has gotta go.
