I feel really good this summer. I took two weeks off. I got right back at it in mid May. I was able to train for two and a half weeks before I met my trainer in the first week of June. My first stage is already done. Usually that takes three weeks and I did it in 15 days. I’ve been pushing my workouts along to try to get as many workouts as I can. I’m ahead of the game right now in terms of where I usually am at this time of year, but that’s based too on a much shorter season. I didn’t have as much wear and tear on the body, so I’m a lot stronger right now at this time of now than I have in any other June.
I’m excited (for next season). You’re coming off a good year individually. We didn’t make the playoffs but it kept me motivated. It gave me the drive that I need.
