I'd say if there was anytime for a brawl, that was one (from a Capitals' standpoint, letting one of your guys be cornered and... "threatened/bullied"? like that).

The moment with McQuaid and Thornton cornering Hendricks about summarizes the Bruins' to a "T". They have each others backs, and will all line up to fight for each other. There is no running away!

Of course people in here who DIDN'T watch the game will call the Bruins goons.

Yet throughout the whole game Hendricks targeted Horton a player with 2 major concussions and tried to fight him when Lucic was off the ice. When McQuaid stepped in he declined. Later he got chippy near our goalie and declined Hendricks.

He spot picked Horton and he tried to do it again during this fight but he chose wrong
He went after Horton cos Marchand the brave went after Ribeiro

They're really mad because Hendricks chased Thomas into hiding, though.

Except for the fact that Hendricks and Horton got into long before that fight.

We know how brave Ribiero plays

This is the same Brad Marchand that's about 5'8 and has about 2 fights in his NHL career, right?? Also our leading goal scorer. Hardly a grinder jumping a star player.

Rubbish. He went over to Horton after Horton pasted one of the Caps players into the boards very early in the first period. He was chasing Horton around all game and they finally went. The game was chippy the whole time, and you could see Thornton antsy to dance with someone.

Marchand and Ribiero went much later in the game completely unrelated to Horton/Hendricks. Marchand doesn't fight, neither does Ribiero. Both are in the smaller guys and Marchand got the better of him. What's the problem? Ribiero didn't have to go, just like Hendricks didn't go with Thornton (and didn't).

Hendricks chose correctly between the two because McQuaid is subject to the stumbles from time to time. The longer that fight went on though, it would have been worse for Hendricks. Thornton is so technical that he would have simply held Hendricks up and fed him rights for 10 minutes.
