They can probably win 5 games the rest of the year and make the 8 seed pretty easily lol

Very likely. In 94/95 42 points got a playoff birth in the west. 47 in the east.

You can say he was avoiding Thornton and McQuaid earlier if the game if you want to, but he fought twice in the game. You can't call someone like that chicken **** when they fought two tough players in Horton and McQuaid.

And, I agree with you that Lucic is not afraid, but I'd assume you find it dumb when people call him out for "dodging" Larque and "cowering" to Orr? I find that dumb as well, just as I find it dumb to call Henricks a spot picker/chicken ****. Granted, both players roles are different, but that doesn't change much here.
I just read that Horton asked Hendricks to go 3 times and he refused and then ran at Horton when he wasn't expecting it. That is why the team was mad a Hendricks and I can't blame them.

Horton dropped Hendricks on his ass. Best fight of the game.

As I said before, I don't have a problem with anything happened today. I do agree that Henricks got a quick jump on Horton just like Marchand did to Riberio, but he still ended up fighting twice today, and I can't call him a spot picker for that. Granted, the argument will be he picked his spot when Horton wasn't expecting it after declining three times, and I'd concede that part if it's true.

I just hope this game is the one that wakes that line up for the rest of the regular season and playoffs. Lets hope the "revenge weekend" continues against the Penguins tomorrow.

Edit:To GJD, Henricks stepped on a stick and that's what caused him to go down. I wish he stayed up so Horton could land a major haymaker.

Now you're just splitting hairs comparing a young Lucic to Henricks is beyond ridiculous.

I watched them. I had thought you caught them all live, so I was confused as to what was happening at first..

How many jerseys do you have? I kept scrolling to the right, and it looks like you have quite a few, along with some good memorabilia.

When Milan is patrolling the boards like he did today, the opportunities to score come frequently as the dman hurries to unload the puck.

Great to have Nathan scoring; but the last thing, given his concussioins, we need him doing is fighting.

Now off to Pittsburgh to rectify Tuesday's error.

6. Winter Classic replica, Milan Lucic signed Home jersey, Patrice Bergeron Away jersey with "A", Bobby Orr Heroes of Hockey jerseys with "A", Nathan Horton Black Ice jersey (yeah I know), Wayne Gretzky Heroes of Hockey jersey with "C", and soon, a Nathan Horton Home jersey.

Maybe not. This could be the game that makes him Nasty, and maybe he won't be apprehensive about throwing his body around or fighting now.

I'm glad none of the Bruins pointed at the scoreboard during scrums because as we know, that's a 10-minute misconduct.

Comparing a teenage Lucic not fighting Laraque in a playoff game to Hendricks today is a ridiculous reach.

And a YouTube video showing any time the Bruins have cornered players

When Bergeron started to round into shape after his career-threatening concussion, he made the mistake of throwing his body around and was concussed by Dennis Seidenberg when he played with the Canes.

After he came back from that concussion, Bergeron adapted a style that for the most part (2011 play-offs' concussion excepted) has allowed him to performed quite effectively without throwing his body around.

Horton has suffered two major concussions in less than 12 months and I don't think a 3rd one will do his career any good.

Just in from the game...

Looch,DK and Nasty Nate were looking good. Nate was so pissed off today . Looch made a couple of beautiful passes from behind the net.

Dobby was excellent.

Andy Ference had a very good game. Loved his goal. Nice to see that smile.

Ovi is such an ass. I yelled at him a couple of times "Sid is so much better that you". He is no team guy.

Also yelled at Ribeiro " You slimy Hab". Good for Marchy.

Wally , you asked: "...You seeing any reaction on the bench for some of the late Cap hits?" The B's were really chatting it up on the bench. They took numbers.

Johnny B was ok thankfully.

Exactly what I said. There is no fanbase to the Capitals like the Canucks and Habs fansbases are to the Bruins so Alzner and Oates comments die quietly.
