It will be another snooze fest. The Jets are very tired. Expect a lot of dump and trap.

There's a lot of speculation that Postma and Burmistrov are also available. Thorburn seems redundant. I started a thread in the trade boards about this.

Looking for 2nd line RW scoring.
All those sounds much more likely than, say, Byfuglien. He'd require a pretty steep return. Burmistrov probably is available too. Hasn't he been a healthy scratch recently?

Anyway, too many OT posts from me today.

GO GO!!

The Pokemon games are fun but the show and cards are brutal.

What's the argument for trading Burmistrov?

I knew that & saw Bogosian at the Sens plex earlier this yr practising with a few of the Sens players during the lockout.

Aside from that I don't know who would be shopped around, but Bogosian is definitely gonna stay Jet from my view.

Anyways, just came here to say good luck, I love the GDT I'm hoping this goes to OT with the Jets nabbing the extra point, I just want you guys to build a solid lead over Toronto. If the Jets stay in top of the SE we won't be clashing for spots, and the Sens are my third team so to speak
Burmistrov is too small, too soft & if he can't play for Winnipeg I don't want him in Ottawa. I'd rather trade for a couple of bigger players, I like Bogosian & Ladd.

No thanks ... although Hainsey would maybe be a fit if Gonchar is not re-signed for a yr or two depending how long it takes for Ceci to make it to the NHL.

I would have done Stone for Bogosian last yr before Ottawa drafted Ceci. Now I have Stone penciled in for Ottawa's right wing somewhere, 3rd line maybe.

Fairly certain he was a healthy scratch for all the recent games during their win streak.

Burmistrov is a bit of a puzzle. His defensive play cannot be questioned, he's actually one of the top PKers in the league statistically. His only problem is when he gets the puck. Too many bad habits, doesn't play within the system, doesn't use his linemates, doesn't shoot, doesn't dump the puck in, waits too long to make decisions, turns facing the boards playing "keep away", etc...

It's a shame, he has potential to be just like Datsyuk. He has extremely soft hands and a fantastic wrister.

As for the soft comments, he may be a bit small but he is not soft. He has knocked Chara over more than a few times. He's also stood up to huge hits and kept the puck while knocking the other guy down.

Edit: Confirmed, he's not playing again. 4th or 5th game in a row.

Ahh, gotcha. Maybe he gets dealt in a "change of scenery" type deal, with another enigma going back Winnipeg's way?
