Hall needs to get in a good camp. He has a world of talent but had a **** game plan. He needs to practice stuffing take downs and getting up when he does get taken down instead of what he did tonight

I hate TUF so I have no idea about him. I know more about the M1 guys than I do the TUF guys.

So, already time to start thinking about who the Cubs will be trading. Think you could see Shierholtz, Hairston, Dejesus, Barney, Soriano, Marmol, Garza, and Villanueva. Villanueva looks like he could actually get us a really good return if he keeps this up. I hope Garza can come back and give the Cubs 2 good months, would be nice to get at least one blue chip prospect for him.

Gotta keep Villanueva, still signed for next year and young enough to be a part of the long term plan. As for the rest, yeah, go right ahead as far as I am concerned. I do like Shierholtz a lot though, wouldn't give him up for scraps, needs to be something decent coming back.

He's 30, thats not exactly young. The fact that he's signed for next year makes him more attractive. If Villanueva is young, then so is Garza.

I agree you don't trade any of those guys for spare parts (like they did with Soto last year), but they could be valuable throw ins that get you a top prospect when traded with someone else.

Carlos is 29 and he doesn't rely on heat to get guys out and has low mileage on the arm. To me, this is a guy you want to keep around for another 4-5 seasons. The Cubs better be good within a year or two, so he'll be like 31. I didn't say he was young per se but he is young enough to be a part of this team for awhile.

There's absolutely no reason to keep Villanueva. His value will be at his peek this TDL if he keeps this up.

Saw a headline that the Cubs set a record for passed balls in a game, and has a game losing balk? Yikes.

Callis said that Appel and Gray have established themselves as the top two prospects in the draft.

Shierholtz is a platoon outfielder at best. He's a nice piece, but this team isn't going anywhere and if we can get anything for him you move him without hesitation.

Shark and Jackson are the only pitcher's in the rotation who MIGHT be worth keeping past next season.

I like him, and his arm doesn't have too many miles on it, but for the dollars he's commanding he might be too pricy too early. That said, I like Jackson as a #3/4, but I'm not sure why we spent that money now.

If we're talking Matt Harrison money, it should be a no-brainer yes.

I know no one in here watches the WNBA but the Chicago Sky drafted Elena Delle Donne who is the best looking 6'5" woman I've ever seen.

I will second that. I think I can tolerate the 5 seconds of news coverage they'll get now.

I hope they take Appel. We could slide him into the rotation next season.

Gray has more upside and will be easier to sign, but either or is fine.
