Not sure what everyone's up in arms about. I've seen plenty of worse Oiler periods this year. We're actually playing better than Nashville now.

It's boring and I have to go see the Walking Dead in 20 minutes.

So I was hoping for some good hockey, but I am disappointed.

Did you really expect an exciting game against Nashville?

Yeah. Certainly not thrilling hockey but we didn't get outplayed.

Getting outshot by the lowest shooting team in the league that's coming off back to back blowouts is not my idea of a good period.

That post-ringer by the Preds on that 3 on 1 would never have been shot by the Oil.. they would have passed it around until it ended up in the corner and out into their own end again.

You guys are downers they aren't playing that bad.
Hall looks great, I hadn't liked him much last season but he looks like Pierre's monster of the game.

Oilers need a new look...theyre giving these retro jerseys a bad name, I say they go with a home and away version of that great famous beautiful third jersey they sported in the early 00s

Not really game related but where can I get a ringtone of those sound effects they play at the end of a period in Rexall?

Looking at other teams (even the Flames), it's astonishing how lifeless we look on a game to game basis. Last game we were good through two periods but this period looks more like the 3rd period of the last game.

There aren't even any goals and it seems like we're trying to prevent a 1-0 Nashville victory instead of going for it.

Eberle is a complete non-factor. No threat whatsoever.

Watching a Finnish stream of the game... the commercials are more interesting than the game.

The Oilers don't play exciting games against anybody. Well, against Chicago and that's about it. It's always "The games are boring because it's Nashville, Minnesota, L.A. etc.). No, the games are boring because the Oilers are boring. That's what you get with a coach who likes to protect 0-0 ties and 1-0 deficits.
