So maybe they don't want to bring Butch back into the lineup. Is this a panic signing based on a hunch that Zucker is done? Or is this something they've been working on for a while? Who is left out there anyway? And what does this say about Larsson and Granlund?

Film at 11!

WTF?

Who is available that could step right in? And if this is because they don't want to use Butch is it possible that a Butch trade has been accomplished but just isn't officially official?

So many questions

This doesn't make sense, unless Fletcher has a plan in the works.

It probably won't be anyone big. The Wild can't afford anything right now.

Which is strange. Can't see it being a defenseman. So why take on more money and a contract of a forward to leave Butch in the box and some kids in Houston? We didn't even do something like this last year when it would have made more sense than calling up Peters.

Well, the Wild can always have more leadership in the locker room.

Seems to be the popular suggestion.

Somebody has really got to be on the move pretty soon though. Anyone know if Arnott was good on special teams?

Someone just mentioned Cheechoo.

Hey Heatley! Seto! Mitchell! We're getting the band back together!

He hated it here. Just ask Walsh. That was a mess the first time around.

I know he is a big body, right-handed, and has a rocket. At the very least, will replace Brodziak on the powerless play.

True, but the guy couldn't hack it with the Rangers at the beginning of the season, and they were desperate for forward depth. Despite any leadership qualities I think he'd just end up being a liability.

Brett Clark doesn't make any sense unless there's something else going on

Yeah, something else has to be going on.

I really don't get that move if true.

Brett Clark doesn't make any sense, unless we're trading Falk/Stoner and need a temporary replacement.

I still say we should sign Elo. 6'3", right-handed shot and has a wicked wrister. And hey, we DID draft him. That said, it's too bad that he doesn't use his size and only has his shot, really.
