Bruins lose McQuaid for 3-4 weeks.

Aaron Johnson is now a regular it appears.

More excuses from Bruins fans coming up.

OR, it creates a hole in which Komisarek fits.

With his 4.5M cap hit? Unlikely.

Anyways, it's probably better that the cap hit remains with the Leafs. Force them to use a buyout.

We seem to have the reverse issue. We have an abundance of Defencemen prospects. Sworn Enemies trading partners?

What I would give for the bruins to be starting komi in their top 6.

Such whiners. They rarely get injured and now...back to back games, injuries. Somebody's getting tested like the rest of the league! (And barely.)

I'm sure it happened (esp during Original 6 times) but I can't recall a Habs-Ruins trade

edit: phuck me, there are websites for everything. Looks like last one was Weinrich for Patrick Reverse back in 2001. Gotta love the one for Dryden's rights, forgot that one too

In what kind of sick twisted world would Dryden have been a Bruin?

They just showed the Sens injured players on The Score and how that team continues to win games is beyond me.. If Paul Maclean can get that team into the playoffs the Jack Adams trophy should be his. I thought for sure after Karlsson got hurt the Sens would take a nosedive in the standings.

Mclean and the Sens deserve alot of credit, they have had a great season with all of those injuries.....

I wonder if Bryan Murray will get any credit for the depth the organization had? Burkie won the Cup in Anaheim, but it was Murray who built the team...

And then Burkie walks up to Murray and straight up tells him he's taking Kadri so toooo bad.

I don't understand it, On paper their team is not impressive on top of that they have had their top players hurt most of the year and they are still winning.

Come on man.....you should at least let him sit in the press box for a game. Then you waive him.

If you look at their young players, they are all very quick, skilled and big bodied. They've drafted well. Zibanejad, Sifverberg and Smith are extremely talented along with snoop-Daugy-vins. I really dislike Turris though. He's talented n all, but he's a litte ***** in the diving, smugness category. Still, can make slick plays and with Alfie, again, given what the eastern conference looks like, I'm not that surprised that they've been treading water. Props to McLean by far though. I wonder if they didn't have Bishop and Lehner, what their fate would be. Those two have probably been the most influential in the team's success after losing Anderson.

Komisarek on the bruins would actually be kind of scary.

He is able to hit.. the bruins will make him mean, and won't overuse him since they have depth..

He may fit in really well there.. and Lucic may even teach him how to fight.

Phoenix's drought about to hit 11 periods.
Well, if they win their GIH in Regulation or OT the 2 teams are tied in that category as well. Head-to-head is tied. And they're +22 to our +19, so right now they have the tie breaker. We play NYI and Buffalo so things can improve on our end if we win one of those games by a lot.

OTOH, Boston plays Sens and Toronto. They could easily put up a 7-1 win against T.O. improving their own +/-. They play their GIH on Monday versus the Leafs. Two games against the Leafs really doesn't bode well for us.

By Monday night, we'll know.

Paul McLean was an assistant coach in Detroit I believe. Don't be surprised to see him behind the bench (at least as an assistant) for Team Canada.

Doubt it. He'd be much more likely to be claimed if he didn't have a year after this one.

I believe if the leafs lose in regulation they slide down to 8th.

If they win they go up to 6th.

Not with a 4.5 Cap hit for next season, at least I can't see that.

Correct.

Put v-cash on Toronto so I can feel good about this outcome either way.

They can have Kaberle for a 2nd rounder.

Prust could use a TKO victim
