Ducks at Blooz 5pm Pacific

Lines:
Matt Beleskey-Ryan Getzlaf-Teemu Selanne
Bobby Ryan-Peter Holland-Kyle Palmieri
Daniel Winnik-Saku Koivu-Andrew Cogliano
Brandon McMillan-David Steckel-Emerson Etem

Sheldon Souray-Francois Beauchemin
Bryan Allen-Cam Fowler
Luca Sbisa-Ben Lovejoy

Hiller

Lydman sits, Fasth is on the bench. Steckel is given two of the fastest wings on the team to play with. Which may indicate why it's McMillan, and not Maroon, who stayed up.

This is our last game against the Blues, we're 2-0 against them. The game winners came from Perry and Bonino

Not a fan of Beleskey-Getzlaf-Teemu

I'd rather have Palmieri up top or Ryan

I like the Blues games. Feeling a loss tonight though, that team is rough and we're down a couple men. Perry will be especially missed tonight.

I think the 2nd line will come through for us tonight. Palmieri and Ryan have chemistry.

Oshie goes on the IR, Tarasenko returns. McDonald still out.

Maroon had to go down because he was on emergency recall, and if the ducks kept him up, he'd have to go through waivers I'd he ever got sent down in the future. Better to not risk losing him.

Going to need to be a team defense game. Hopefully Hiller is on his game.

Go Ducks!

Loving that 2nd line. Hope they can provide some instant offense. Matt B and Getzy have had some chemistry and as long as Teemu can get a clean handle on the puck they should be fine.

Will need a strong performance from the D and Hiller.

I think Palmieri works better with Getzlaf but this is better than him riding the fourth line.

If Hiller can play the way he did last night I like our chances. But St. Louis is gonna come us hard. I'm convinced that they are sick of losing to us.

If the other team gets a goal called back, Hit's 2 posts and a crossbar, then yes. The Ducks will win tonight.

Ducks will lose tonight 4-2

apparently Hiller can't even get credit for games he wins.

360 days since Cam's last goal. Do we need to start didfowlerscore.com?

I'm glad this is the last time (regular season, anyway) we have to play the Blues this year. Always seems tough playing them on the road. Anyway, go Ducks!

I think Hiller was great in that game. He won 2-1 and looked like a beast in the shoot out.

But I hope you agree that he was saved by the Hockey Gods in that game. If not, I question which game you were watching.

He's coming so close to scoring a goal. He will find the back of the net any day now!

I don't think he was saved by anyone. Players hit posts. Welcome to hockey.

There's a school of thought that a lot of shots hit posts and go out because the goalie is on his game and not giving them anything else to shoot at.

Didn't you know, those pucks just hit Hiller, didn't actually save any, all of it was the hockey gods saving him

Hiller or the Ducks most likely won't get those posts/crossbar's tonight. So that will make it 4-2 Blues.

Have you Kids ever hear that term before "Hockey Gods"?

I don't think there are really "Hockey Gods".

Exactly. I don't hold a post shot against a goaltender. I don't consider it a save or anything either, but it's not a goal. That is what matters. To take credit away from Hiller for that is just stupid.

Way to anger the hockey gods.

It's no longer my fault if we lose.

No kidding. I guess that means it's up to the players to make their own luck.

How about that.
