Not a chance. Doesn't fit the Jets' needs well.

Enstrom and Burmistrov could likely fetch a better package anyways.

Not to mention there is almost zero chance Winnipeg deals Enstrom. Byfuglien and Enstrom have too much chemistry with one another and Enstrom is the only high end left-handed defensemen on the team. The Jets could actually use one more.

Blum becomes completely redundant on a team already packing Byfuglien, Bogosian, Postma, Redmond and Trouba. We need more left handed D.

No chance the Peg does that. Don't really want to move our 1st anyways, it could be good this year.

Thrashers need a top 6 Rw... Erat is exactly what they are looking for.

Offtopic but Zaxbys is delicious. There are not any nearby and it makes me sad.

Who are the Thrashers?

This thread is about Nashville and Winnipeg

Sure.

But at the cost of Burmistrov and Enstrom it makes no sense.

Rather give around a 2nd plus a B-prospect for Erat.

Erat is a 70+ player on any other team than the Preds

Erat +Ellis + 4th rounder = Enstrom+ Burmistrov

No he's really not. He's barely a 50 pt. scorer I doubt he'd be hitting 70 anywhere. If we could get burmistrov + a 2nd for Erat + Ellis/Blum + Sk I'd do it. But we aren't getting Enstrom for anything we have to offer.

Erat has never had more than 60 points ever in his career...not even in juniors. Plus he's 31 years old, I really doubt his points would make a jump unless he's paired with Crosby.

You can't try and sell me a 50 point player and tell me you value him at 70+ points.

Enstrom just signed a 6 year contract with a full NMC. He's not being traded.

A small point but erat had over 100 points in his breakout junior year. Maybe you didn't notice the pre red deer numbers he put up or didn't follow the amazing memorial cup run?

Burmi will never out produce Erat offensively in his career... we are basically trading for a replacement for Legwand/Fisher that is more sound defensively with some extra creativity

Erat gets my vote for most underrated player in the league. This trade makes no sense though, Enstrom is a #1 D and is not being traded.

Agreed. Can't say I'm familiar enough with Blum to be decisive on that one but it seems to be in the realm of possibility. Enstrom will not be traded.

Not nearly enough for Burmistrov and Enstrom.

If you think Erat is a 70 point player and Burmistrov will not produce as much, then keep Erat and Winnipeg will gladly watch Burmistrov produce almost as much for alot less at a premium position.

I think that's a bad unrealistic proposal but no way near the worst proposal in the last 6 months, not even the worst proposal of the day (see the Jets - Sabres thread or the Burmistrov thread). Congrats if you've really managed to only open the non-insane Trade board threads.

Erat had a NTC and is finally getting to the cheap years of his contract.

He's not going anywhere.

If Enstrom is going to Nashville Colin Wilson or Roman Josi (lateral move which makes no sense) is coming back.
