Close game with two extremely lucky goals. I'll take the win. Kudos to the Islanders, their team is much better than their record indicates.

Really glad with the showing. I was scared going into it, we got a couple of lucky bounces but for the most part (on the plays leading to their two goals) played well.

Feels like we've seen this game 10 times already. Habs come into a tied 3rd period and just dominate to win it fairly easily.

Price was terrific tonight. Those home/road stats for him are pretty telling...

Feels good to finally beat that team. A needed win with the inevitable 3 point game coming in Ottawa.

I think so, too. I think next year they will look better.

NHL.com still has Gallagher with 2 goals. I assume they'll eventually give that one to PK?

Price didnt steal the game but he got Montreal through the first two periods in which they were pretty bad defensively.

More than anything Poulin cost the Isles the game. Montreal was pretty average overall and are really missing Bourque, Diaz and especially Prust

I like the Islanders team concept of diving. Jesus.

Though, we beat them. We beat our kryptonite.

I missed the GWG as I tried to take the garbage out quickly.
