Tampa is also calling up Radko Gudas. Right handed, hits like a truck, dman.

Showcase?

Atleast Lebrun has given us a discussion!

I don't think it's Tampa because I think Yzerman has an ego and that would be admitting a mistake that he traded for Lindback.

For arguments sake, I'd lol if it was Connolly, Linndback and a 1st

I suggested him a few weeks back. Would be perfect for the bottom pairing. He's one tough bad ass.

Considering LA seems to be moving along well without Willie and Greene would they be open to trading Mitchell?

Say, for a 2nd?

Would be a great fit again with Bieksa and that frees up Hamhuis to possibly babysit Edler

he's fearless, but a bit on the small side.

But if we are talking about actual hockey skill wise, hes like you said a bottom pairing guy. And with tanev on the 3rd pairing. Dont' see the need there.

Back to Connolly,

Theres something about Connolly that scares me, he has that Bertuzzi aura, where it looks like he will do something stupid. ie take a selfish penalty.

Talent wise, he has size, skill and grit.

It`s too bad brian campbell is getting old because he is exactly the type of D man the canucks need right now.

Amazing skating, puck moving D. PP quaterback and is elite starting transition.

If LeBrun is correct, I think it's guaranteed to be Washington or Tampa, more like Washington since Yzerman seems really invested in Lindback + Vasilevskiy and Washington's young goalies have been flat out horrible this year.

Random wildcard interested in Schneider: Winnipeg Jets.
Pavelec has been bad in his Jets career, and Schneider has the Manitoba Moose connection.

He's about the same size as Bieksa. I would be happy with him as a tertiary part of a trade.

Thought of Jets as well. Kane? I really am on crack.

I'm not a fan of anything Washington though. I only think of CBJ because of the fact they move to the east next year, new GM and president.

Bobrovsky coming back would be fine to back up Lu.

Schneider and Edler for byfuglien and enstrom.

we get an entire pairing that works.

And if garrison works with enstrom, or enstrom works with tanev

Use byfuglien as a forward and cause havoc to the other team.

Never gonna happen.

But imagine a powerplay with Byfuglien blasting from the point and zack kassian shoving his giant rump in front of goalies every night.

wet dream...

err.... yeah that sounded bad..

It's not about who he fights it's about how hard he hits.

He's a Kasparitis clone.

That's intimidation.

Seriously? The guy is an elite talent. He may have issues but its nothing that can't be handled with the right leadership group. Which we have.

Not saying hes not tough, just saying considering how he plays, his body is going to be taking a pounding.

And I loved kaspar, man was he undersized.
