You ignored the other part of that. I know you're really not this way, stop with the internet tough guy syndrome and throwing around words like "gutless" and "quit on his team", when you have no idea what actually goes on.

He doesn't have the balls to accept market value for ANY of his gutless wonders. Which means come the trade deadline, he'll sit on his ASS and do NOTHING.

It just makes it easier for him to get gonged out of 1 Knox Plaza.

How do you know he's quit on his team?

And even if he has, the team quit on HIM long before that.

So management sucks and the lockerroom has imploded. Well, let's ask the Columbus fans how they deal with this because it's going to be a looooong road back to respectability.

Looked good until the point he got completely undressed and essentially gave up a goal. Smooth skating, quick decisions, jumped up into the play a few times. Then he had one of those "doh" rookie moments. Still, I'm confident he will be quite good in the long run.

Solid. Didn't panic. Nice first pass, knew when to join the rush.

Got a bit undressed on that 5th Caps goal though.

All in all, solid debut.

If he keeps progressing this offseason, it's gonna be REAL hard to keep him outta the top 6 next year.

when miller show's his passion/displeasure... it's "oh he's a leader"... but when Kaleta does it he has to grow up

hypocrit BS from Miller
You are 100% right about Kaleta giving it is all but that play single handily gave the game to the Rangers. Rolston probably has heard more about Kaleta than watched and he fair or unfair has a reputation for doing bone-headed things that result in penalties and suspensions. Rolston is coaching for a NHL job.... he wants to win and thinks Kaleta would be best served on the bench. As a player you have to accept that and try to prove otherwise.

Changing the topic.....

Hey guys, I've been on this forum for a while now...and finally decided to register.I don't have many Buffalo fans around me, too many Leafs fans. And...well....I'm pretty much thinking tank mode.

G: Flynn
Foligno
Pysyk
CoHo
B: Derp
U: So many more productive things I could have done....

Then it happens to be that I'm singing this song with a group of friends for our Coffee House, and it strangely reminded me of the Sabres

and your "team leader" goaltender should not throw a player like Kaleta under the bus based on the accusation of a reporter

The only thing he should of done was not talk to the media about "talking to the media" . This happens at every job across the country. Someone is told they aren't preforming at a high enough level and instead of trying harder or working to become better they ***** about it to everyone. I have zero problem with someone telling that person to Man Up. So we'll have to agree to disagree

If he plays like he did tonight, he's got a shot. Other than the Perrault goal, which was a pretty sick move, he was really solid.

Remember that Rolston is Darcy's choice and that we didn't get rid of our loser assistant coaches either.

I am actually good with getting rid of Ehrhoff at this point. Myers too. Given that Pom, Miller, Van, HECHT are all gone.
FIRE EVERYONE! GM, Coach, Pom, Van, Staff, Ehrhoff, Myers, Porter, Kaleta,
FIRE EVERYONE!

It's very rare that a coach is hired from outside the organization in a situation such as this one. Wait for the offseason.

Paul Hamilton is being his usual agenda driven self with the Pomminville stuff. He basically takes every opportunity to beat that drum and play up anything that fans the flames and he's been very consistent doing that since, well, forever.

There are plenty of reasons to criticize any player on this roster (including Poms) but Paul Hamilton's opinion on most things about this club is about on par with Jerry Sullivan's insight (i.e. not much). His only value is relaying the things he observes directly that can't be filtered (e.g.who is on the ice at practice).

This town has been without real meaningful reporting on this team for quite a while.
