Miller telling another player to grow up is priceless. He's a hypocrite clown and needs to be removed from that locker room.

Kaleta said he was p.o'd that he wasn't in the line-up. He wants to play. Sounds good to me.

Miller, on the other hand, bites on a reporter's made-up quote and accuses a teammate of needing to "grow up" and stop being "dramatic." Now who's the drama queen poisoning the locker room? It ain't Kaleta. Miller should have just said he hadn't heard exactly what Kaleta said, but would talk to him about it and get his version (the correct one). Can't believe he responded to that old trick - a reporter changing another player's actual words. Weak.

I know I get a big kick out of the buffalo news being a sponsor of the team. What's the next smart and positive public relations idea, promote gleasons column throughout the broadcast?

You learn fast in Buffalo, unless you're Sabres management in which case it takes between 2.5 and 17 years to sort anything out.

The hypocrisy in "grow up" and "dramatic" thrown around by Miller is comical.

Gleason's columns are "War and Peace"-type quality compared to the drivel Harrington puts out in the paper and on Twitter (especially Twitter). The Buffalo News' sports department is chock full of crap and Harrington is the biggest piece of it.

While it is certainly true that not everything is bad, I find that Gleason hides behind strongly refutable hockey knowledge and interest. He certainly has his pulse on the fan but while the fan refuses to be interested in the organization because of one major signing, all of his interest in writing is not positive and he promotes a crush their hearts out of town mentality. It is not successful, especially if the organization had highs worth preserving in another way.

I'm tired of Taylor Swift being between the pipes and bringing fake leadership to the dressing room. Dude thinks he's a leader but he's far from it.

He's bothersome, and frankly, not a great goaltender. If the negatives are outweighing the positives, something needs to give. It's at that point.

Miller Swift cork soakers are going to hate that claim, but I don't give a ****. Improve the situation, on and off the ice.

Miller has been around long enough to know that when someone gives you a loaded question such as "Your teammate said this and that" that you tell the reporter "I didn't hear him say that".

It sucks that this isn't 2002 where we could have gotten a kings ransom for an Elton goalie like Miller. Like what we should have gotten for Hasek had he not been the biggest ****** of all time and demanded what the return for himself would be from Detroit. Still amazes me to this day... Holy ego...

I have to say, that what I see here is a bunch of pre-conceived biases (agendas) influencing folks thoughts on the matter.

While Miller should probably have just stayed silent on the issue, this is a big case of much ado about nothing. Harrington is to blame here, not Miller or Kaleta. Miller even said he was going to go back and talk to Kaleta about the situation, so I doubt it is an issue with them, and that is all that matters.

So the only guy who has a big enough spine to say anything is wrong with the team and in the locker room and he's a hypocrite? Please.

Miller is first to say he needs to be better. We all know that a big part of sports is the mentality that goes into games.

No doubt in my mind the piss poor performances in front of him have reflections on him. Why wouldn't they? Does he need to be better? Absolutely. But calling him a hypocrite and a locker room cancer is absurd.

Hardly any player in that locker room is taking accountability. They all need to ****ing go. I'm sick and tired of this ****ing crap.

You can start with the ****ing captian who can't even say he was at fault when its blatantly obvious he would rather throw his stick out than try to take a body.

When a team is bad, everyone... Fans, media... Everyone starts to say things they shouldn't. Miller should have bit his tongue, absolutely. Having said that, he did add the caveat of "if" Patty said those things.

Miller should know better, but I don't think he was out of line in the least. And nor was Kaleta. The culprit is Harrington here. He was the cause, Miller's comments were an effect.

Hopefully the entire team gives "no comment" answers to Harrington for the rest of the year for that stunt.

Kaleta should be pissed he's off the team, if he wasn't he should be waived. probably shouldn't take it too the media at all though, and I feel like that's what miller is calling out on...
still he probably shouldn't take it to the media either.

It's Harrington. What do you expect?

The worst part is that this has become in any way about Harrington. He could have told Miller ANYTHING and it's still not the point. Who cares about Harrington's journalistic credibility?!? It's just another sad excuse for Saint Miller.

Yep. Recall when people got on Hecht for his "talk to the guys who are playing" comment when he was scratched. After seeing the fallout from people speaking their minds here, why would any player at this point help these media clowns get more red meat.

Yep, Harrington bashed Hecht too. Probably mad that he couldn't get his juicy quote and troll up drama and dissension. Harrington knew who to stir up - the passionate and outspoken players: Kaleta and Miller.

For good reason.
