Veilleux almost got fired last year after Shawinigan lost in the 2nd round , what would happened to Molleken if his team is swept in the 1st round ?

I think they waited to see how far Veilleux went in the memorial cup before firing him, if Veilleux had not been able to take the team far in the memorial cup he would have been fired, but since they won they kept him. I suspect the same will happen with Molleken if they get beat out by the Tigers this series. They will wait and see how does in the memorial cup and see how they do. No sense to fire your coach before the memorial cup.

blades are done , I know they wont do it but the league should let the 2 finalist play in the mem cup . Who's the last team to host a mem cup and not make it into the playoffs or make it past the 1st round ?

I'd bet my bank account that, not only do they not win a game, they score 1 goal or less in each.

They do have a lot of time for their injuries to heal - the three league champions don't have that benefit. Shawinigan pulled it off last year.
