SOLI'S SHORTSIDE
- Happy St. Paddy's!
- The Predators are reeling on the road. 1-7-1 in their last 9 on the road.
- 4 points out of a playoff spot against a team that's vying for a spot. MWG.

Krueger said a good chance Fistric returns tonight, so probably Schultz-Fistric on that last D pairing.

It's actually Fitzkhabibulin and McHemsky...
if we beat them, we are tied with them, and they are one less team we have to leapfrog. If we lose, we have to win MORE than 2/3 of our remaining games, whereas we only need to win exactly 2/3 of our games right now.

Absolute must win game. Can't have a three point game here either. W in regulation or bust.

Sorry, a little of topic, but I am watching the Bruins/penguins game right now and it is WAY more exciting than anything that we have seen this year. The east and west are two totally different leagues this year and come Stanley Cup finals, east is going to dominate.

I vehemently disagree. I think the superior defense (systems, forwards, and defenders) of the top western teams will stifle the top eastern teams. In a best of 7 where it's about wearing out your opponent, I find that western teams have the build to do it.

Pretty sure Chicago could go toe to toe with anyone in the East.

A regulation win today would put us in 10th place, 2 points out of the playoffs

Hoping for a win, but it might be a boring game.
I'll probably continue my Sunday tradition of watching the Walking Dead and flip it on the game during commercial breaks.

I love peoples optimism, thinking that this club still has a chance to make the playoffs.

Statistically we do, so it's also being realistic. Are the chances 'great' (by definition a subjective term)? Nope.

I read somewhere, Nashvilel was 1-7-1 in their last 9 games on the road. After last game against them, we should come out firing and wanting to return the favour to them. Lets hope we can take advantage of a team ahead of us that is on the skids. Fill the net tonight, Rinne has been struggling.
5-2 Oilers.
