Didn't really watch any of that period, have my headphones on but focused more on the TV.

Yes, but thats not always the case. Especially with our soft D play this year.

Would like to see him hold on to more shots. I still think its a nervous thing with Marky. That would explain his recent issue with soft goals during the opening of games.

With more games this season I'm sure some of these issues will get worked out.

Most of those that I can remember weren't off rebounds.

Exciting times. I know the feeling, as Brian Elliot is a buddy of mine, and its always exciting to see a friend do well.

So far I'm liking Selleck's game the best out of our call-ups this year (minus Shore). I did really like Timmin's game, but that is kind of irrelevant now.

No, I didn't mean that. I just mean maybe nerves result in rebounds and quick goals at the opening of games.

He still is a very green rookie though.

Agreed. It is not gonna work so well this season but with a better D it should look better.
I dont know why he is so nervous but it also one thing that can be worked on. I would rather do it this season and not carry it over into the next one.

That is what I am hoping for and a reason why Clemmensen should NEVER start 2 games in a row again this season!!

He's a first year 23-year-old being asked to stand on his head because the defense sucks. I don't blame him. And you're exactly right on why he should be starting. He should start absolutely as much as possible to prep for next season. The minors can't help him much any more. He needs NHL ice time. I was saying this all this week while Clem got those two starts. I would really like to hear the reasoning behind starting Clem two straight.

Why would you try to go backhand there? I'm glad he did, though.

I dont blame him either. I am sure he will settlle down after a time. We all know he can be very good. He did showcase that already against the two EC heavyweights in Boston and Pittsburgh.

Matthias continues to excel tonight again, even though he is sick. I think its his patience he shows with the puck this year. The games he is on he looks so confident carry the puck and passing.

I hope Shore gets on the Matthias program eventually.

If he can be defensively responsible, I think he has a shot of making this team in the future. We desperately need guys on the fourth line who can hit, mix things up, and add some toughness.

Why Shore? You had a guy on the opposite wing, open.

You can see that J. Stall is totally on another level there, he just blew by Shore.

Please explain to me why Matthias still hasn't been promoted to playing with Hubs and Mueller. It's not like Shore is tearing it up.

Shore has actually been pretty mediocre lately. He's just making dumb decisions with the puck and of course still holding it too long on scoring chances.

Shore really needs to work on his puck handling. It will help him with his finishing as well.
