I don't see the Ducks trading Ryan anytime soon (especially considering the season they are having).

Plus he is on a very reasonable and cap-friendly contract.

How is Ryan worth a 1st round pick on top of Gagner? Let's not forget that Gagner is also 2 years younger than him.
Yah cause Ryan's and Gagner's values are all based on this year and not recent seasons right? What's with you Oiler fans lowballing the league?

I'm a Sens fan who would love to see Ryan here, but it ain't happening. The price would be way too high, and I'm already a guy who would personally overpay to get BR. Just not that much.

When you put it like that I'm kinda pumped for the draft. Even if our pick is 30th overall, we should have a shot at a real stud.

How much will he ask for on his next contract? 6mill+?

Assuming he has the breakout season we have been expecting for the last 2 years and goes 40-40 I assume 7+.

Likely it would take Turris, Silfverberg and a mediocre pick to get Ryan.

Is that a price Ottawa fans are willing to pay? Obviously not.

Pieces I'd offer in a package would be Cody Ceci, Stefan Noesen, Matt Puempel, Mark Stone, Shane Prince, Mark Borowiecki, Zack Smith, Colin Greening, Ben Bishop, 1st Round Draft Pick, ect (But doubt that would be the best type of offer that Anaheim would receive).
Those pieces are secondary. Sens love to acquire players without giving up value. Zibs or Silverberg should be part of any deal. The Ducks already have two starting goalies under contract, so now they want Bishop?
Ryan will bring back a nice return.

Ducks would want something like Zibby + Silfverberg.

Two prized young players. Ottawa fans would hesitate but that's the reality.

The zone out the last 3-4 years because its too painful knowing they have been horrible.

An act of God.

Teams that are 21-7 are not normally dumping first line forwards to 15-14 clubs at a trade deadline.

In other words. Stop bringing up ducks trade threads. We're 2nd in the league with a team history 12 game winning streak. Our team is fine! shoo flies don't bother us.

This is ridiculous how overrated Ryan is, he put up 57 points last year in 82 games when Michalek puts up 60 in 77, and is michalek worth 3 1sts and a second? No I don't think so.

Has Michalek scored 30 goals every year of his career?

I think you'd be better off with some combo of Hemsky/MSP and later round picks...you know, the Oiler's bread and butter offers.

I guess it's a good thing Bobby Ryan has had a longer career than just one season.

No but he neve played with Getzlaf and Perry and he put up 35 last year with only 77 games and was leading the league in goals at one point befor he got injured, he would of put up close to 40 if he had been healthy from start to finish last year.

Thats all fine and dandy until you realize Bobby Ryan plays on the 2nd line without Getzlaf and Perry. Smh
