Win can put this team within a point of around 3 times, lets hope all this late attention doesn't produce a stinker of a performance!

Big game!!!! Let's do it!!!..... But with the speed that Grabner provided lost for awhile, is Ullstrom not a better option than Reasoner or Boulton??

Every time the Isles tease us with a little success they seem to lose a crucial winnable game. This is that game once again.

If they lose tonight I'll figure same old same old and start researching the draft. If they win I might really start thinking about playoffs a little bit.

Sens have won something like 11 one goal games. They are very good at grinding it out and hanging in to the bitter end where they hope to steal a win or at least a point, and they have done it.
they are almost out of our reach but we need the 2 points and giving up 1 wont matter too much.
The only way we get the W is to match them and grind hard all the way, no let downs.

This is going to be a nail biter. Sens have kept on chugging even after the loss of Spezza and Karlsson... its quite amazing really.

Silvferburg (Spelling?) has been a stand out for them in every game i've watched.

I have the feeling this is going to be an exciting playoff-like game. 4-2 Isles is my hope.

JT, Boyes, Streit, Nielsen all score. Frans with the EN to ice the game.

3-1 Islanders. I see the Sens scoring first and fairly early. We get that same, here we go at home feeling, however at the end we get a goal from someone like Mac. A gritty hardworking goal.

Scoreless second period. Start of the third we score on a PP, hold on and net the empty netter at the end.

Big game, the starless Sens still are putting a solid lineup out there and cannot be taken lightly.

smoke and mirrors on how this Ottawa team gets through some games with that lineup. But they work hard, play incredibly well defensively and are getting results.

I can only imagine the Isles without Tavares, Streit/Vis (both combined don't come close to Karlsson) and Nabokov for an extended period. Yikes!

Hopefully Lehner isn't playing, kid is a beast. He's going to be a top goalie in a couple of years.

Huge game here. Gotta keep up putting pressure on the team in front of us and show them that we are for real!

5-3 Islanders win

They really have some nice young talent on their team. Silfverberg and Zibanejad are two real nice players.
