Mercifully, it's over.

Raycroft ends up stopping 19 of 21 shots. Not great, but acceptable.

potvin has only allowed 13 goals in the last 60 minutes he's played. what's wrong with that? (i'd type 'LOL' here but its hard to laugh right now) ...the only way 13 goals in 60 min. would be acceptable is if he had 45 penalty shots against him

So, what's Felix's problem?

from what I saw ... he goes down early and often and the others guys shoot high...

Too early, too often and too deep in his net. Maybe Potvin could have gotten away with it when he was younger and had quicker reflexes/ overall movement, but not now that he is 30+.

Detroit will probably win it all this year.

Two positives: Bergeron was even on +/- and won most of his face-offs.
Jurcina played alot, but was also even.

Sully

Sully has to cut it out with the playin' the kids thing. We faced the Detroit Red Wings who had 2/3 of their vet starters in the line up. We're talking about all-stars. We just had Thornton, Knuble, Samsonov, McGillis, and Moran. The kids didn't learn a thing tonight. They just got their buts handed to them, that's all.

Unfortunately, as far as the defense and goaltending is concerned, the players on the ice tonight could very likely be on the ice on opening night, with the exception of O'Donnell replacing Kutlak.

B's defense tonight : McGillis, Moran, Jilsson, Gill, Kutlak, Jurcina.

Boynton needs to be signed!
