Never, ever happening. Kesler+ is likely what they'd ask.

EDIT: You're a Bruins fan... wtf?

Lucic isn't getting traded, and I would immediately hang up if anyone offered that deal for him.

There's a vocal minority of Bruins fan that believe that since Lucic isn't the 2nd coming of Cam Neely, the he's lazy, overpaid, and needs to be traded immediately.

To be honest, I don't think I'd give up considerable assets for Lucic. The guy makes as much as the Sedins do, and it isn't as if he's an elite offensive player that can carry offense himself. I'll admit he's one of my fav players for what he brings to the table, but I don't think he's worth 6mil a season with where the cap will be next season. If I have to give up a hefty package to acquire him, well, that just doesn't sit well with me.

It would start with Kesler or Edler.

And that's where it would end.

Our center depth is weak, and we can't afford another forward making $6 mil.

That's surprising... Clowe+ for Lucic?

True, but that's also where negotiations would end, because it'd be Edler+ or Kesler+ for Lucic. Doesn't make sense for two contenders, without the greatest prospect pools and neither wants futures.

Lucic has been underwhelming this year, but still very valuable. If he was on the block he wouldn't return, say one of the "big 4" from Edmonton. He's not that valuable, IMO. I think his trade value on these boards has been overrated for a while. He's regarded as a top 20-30 player trade value wise throughout the league, and I don't think he's a top 20-30 player.

Lucic won't be traded. He's struggling this season but he is part of the core. Senseless thread!

Nothing overly enticing. Quantity for... Lucic.

And even within that minority I doubt many of them would start this thread.

We aren't trading Lucic.

Edler would have to be in the deal for me to even consider it.

Even though he's from Vancouver, I would imagine Lucic wouldn't want to go to a team known for playing soft.

To be fair, offensively he isnt Neely at all. However you are right, there is that minority that wants him traded cause they think he's, lazy, etc.

This proposal is asinine. Lucic is going no where and if he does the other team would have to severely over pay.

I'm not interesting in Milan's cap hit and contract. He's the prototypical Bruin, I just don't see how these two teams come together in any trade.

I watched a Boston game early in the week and noticed what appears to be some bad blood, may be reading into things. Saw Lucic talking and everyone on the bench turning their backs on him and he eventually stopped talking and looked really bummed out. This happened twice and was curious if that is a common scene,he really looks like he is down on himself.

As for Lucic coming to Vancouver,it doesnt work with his contract and what Boston would want. Its just to crazy a road to even go down.

Seriously Lucic 6M contract kills alot of his trade value, nobody would overpay the way some B's fans hope. It's just better to hope Lucic will regain his form and that contract won't turn out to be too bad.

Ok, Edler we can discuss. Kesler, no way. Edler + what? 2nd? Done and done in my book.

Glad it wasn't a Canucks fan who started this.
