I knew it would be another Havlat thread, so I'll repeat what I said before. The Sharks will not trade Havlat unless a speedy top-6 winger is coming back, which defeats the purpose of trading Havlat. Bad trading partners, no dice.

Don't the Sharks have cap issues next year if they keep Havlat?

Not enough to trade him for Fayne and Josefson.

Nope. Handzus and Murray are gone. Most likely Clowe and Galiardi as well. That's $9.5 million right there. We have no key re-signings except Demers and Irwin, which shouldn't add to more than $3 million. So even with the cap dropping, we still have some cap space to fill out our bottom 6.

So we're not trading Havlat unless a top 6 winger comes back.

How about David Clarkson and a conditional pick if he doesn't sign with the Sharks, and Tedenby for Havlat and Clowe?

Throw in Zidlicky and Jon Merrill and maybe Dan Boyle can become a Devil???

Just throwing it against the wall to see if it sticks. LOL

You can keep Zidlicky (to make Elias and Havlat happy).

Depends on the pick. I really like Clarkson, I think he's super underrated, but if he doesn't re-sign we get absolutely screwed.

But yeah, not bad. Thanks for actually addressing our needs.
