High-end American. First round quality defenseman. Rangers got a great pick.

Hope he reports. Rangers haven't had so much luck with the draft since Murphy's year.

Why the heck did Iacobucci fall all the way to the 15th round. He's a delightfully wonderful skater with a skill-set that is top 3 rounds worthy. Mapleleaf, Chew-Dawg, Tigers, anyone else in the know why Issac The Magnificent fell so greatly?

I agree Iacobucci, is a great pick Garyboy. Great skater, great speed. He needs to fill out get stronger, more aggressive. But In my mind not to the point of falling too a 15th round pick. Real solid, solid selection by the 67's.

I was pretty surprised Matt McConnach fell to the 15th round. Not sure if he has other options or what, I think he should have been worthy of a top 3 round pick. Very surprising.

Peterborough deserves an A++. The first 4 selections for the Petes were golden. Spencer, Lizzotte, M.Webb and Coyle. Two smart 8th round selections Marino and Brancatella. The 10th round selection Sam Hunter was also good for that round. Savoy in the 12th round is fantastic. Im shocked Savoy fell that far, I believe that is a steal for the Petes. It goes on and on.

Niagara Ice Dogs A+ for there first 3 picks. McCool, Wilkie, Knott.

good day for Petes fans although we took too many D.

Think Coyle could make it next year Mapleleaf?

Yes, I think Coyle can play a depth role and develop on the 3rd and 4th line, starting next year. Big boy, good feet with some skill.

Niagara's first 4 picks were unreal, everyone is forgetting/doesnt know how good Ryan Sarris is. This kid has shutdown all of the top picks in this draft. plus has great offensive potential.
Mark these words hes going to be a player

I reckon Issac will make the 67's next year. This disrespect will light a fire under him, and he'll be the second best rookie forward at camp next to Konecny. Konecny, Salituro and Iacobucci are going to be a delight to watch.

What's with Craievich falling as far as he did?
I get that he has some issues in his game that he needs to work on, but you can't teach his scoring instincts.
Thought he'd be at least a 2nd rounder..

Also surprised someone didn't take a chance on Adam Sinclair from YSE in the 15th.
Yes, he's incredibly small and already an NCAA commit, but you never know if he'll grow.
If he does, someone probably ends up spending much higher pick on him next year.

How tall are his parents, anybody know? This is a straight question.

Petesfan94,

Why was it a good day for Petes fans? Who is going to score goals for the team in the present and future? The Webbs and Clifton were taken way too high. I think the top picks were A ++ in terms of size and physical play down the road, but at what cost?

Fair enough but the Petes now have the oppurunity to have an elite back end in years to come with Spencer and Lizotte and now possibly Clifton and Santini.

Clifton is a win now move. Im tired of no playoff hockey.

I have no problem with Clifton or the Webbs, I just don't like where they were taken.

There was some talk that on here about Jordan MacLean, and I think one poster even said he could be a late first round pick. He never ended up being drafted though.

I am just curious to why a kid falls off like that? I know it happens all the time. I have particular interest in him because he a boy from Peterborough and being from Peterborough its always nice to see hometown boys get drafted.
