Do you like going to all you can eat Buffets?

I went to my first one today in about 6 months (it was a brunch), I will only go to a buffet if its a good quality one. This one was $22 and even though everyone wants their moneys worth by stuffing themselves, I dont do it often which is good. But if you're paying $22, you better be a big eater which I am. But the thing is, I dont like to stuff myself and always eat smaller meals more often throughout the day. You feel so much better cause you dont feel bloated when you walk out of a buffet bar. Now I know why I rarely go to these anymore, theyre too taxing on the tummy and I will always feel like complete crap for the rest of the day.

The food was alright, just average. I easily eat $20 worth of raw fish alone so its worth it for me. But after when you have to hit the toilet, its not. After any buffet, go to the can and it will be a full house in the toilet stalls.

All I know is, thank god I dont go to these often.

Depends, I love brunches but this one was average quality. The best part was the belglum waffles and i had one but wasnt going to stuff myself on them.

Those $7.95 all you can eat asian buffets that have 50lbs of MSG included in every dish dont interest me.

Hate them. The Chinese ones are some of the worst "restaurants" on this planet.

I'll go to one occasionally if I'm in a casino during the week and the restaurants are closed. I really can't (don't want to) eat enough in one shot to justify paying for them.

The only one I ever really liked was a brunch they used to have at Foxwoods with they had full breakfast, a sushi stand with ahi tuna, little filets and halved lobster tail. But that place was food porn and really shouldn't count.

^ and thats why brunches are better than buffets cause you have a lot of good healthy good like salads, fruits, veggies and not just your typical run of the mill deep fried foods and 500 types of potatoes at every other big man buffets.

Those ones if i go to, ill usually see people stuffing themselves with deep fried foods and 24 types of meat, gross...makes me wanna gag.

Like this guy

Today I was eating and see this guy carrying 2 massive plates of what was pancakes, sausages, bacon, french toast and it was drenched in syrup and butter. It was stacked up so high on both plates, i first thought is this guy going to eat that for real? lol. I thought it was leftovers and was going into the garbage or a storage bin. He puts the plates down, and both plates are literally 8 inches high in pancakes, sausages and bacon. gross. He comes back and starts chowing down. I nearly threw up just watching this guy lol.

I'm so-so. The food quality is often very poor which makes it not that great. It is nice to be able to eat all you want, which is the other problem. I have nearly vomited from eating to much food the last few times I've gone. Not fun if your not sure if you are going to make it to the car without it coming up.

They come in handy when you're on the road and you don't feel like eating at McDonalds or Burger King.

My problem is not whether or not i can make it to the car without it coming up, but it coming out. Im almost always on the toilet after. There goes the money you just spent.

Actually he did! Then I happened to see him in the washroom later and he plugged the toilet. Everything was flowing out and onto the floor and they had to shut down the washroom til the Janitors arrived.

It depends, the chain buffets no, We just got a Golden Corral here 3 or so years ago now and they definately got the last part of their name right, It definately is a corral. If it's a local one it's not too bad as long as you get there right as lunch or dinner starts, otherwise stuff sets out too long. There is a asian buffet here that I think is pretty decent, it's expensive but it attracts alot of asian people.

Casino Buffets are the best of the best but Golden Corral can hold its own in terms of quality for a non-casino buffett.
