Nailed it. Komisarek has been a team player and has never once complained, he fought Lucic in a blowout game against the Bruins despite knowing he would lose, and he has made light of similar situations like the one Liles is also dealing with.

And i wouldn't feel sorry for you, either.

No way. At the time he was signed it was looked at like a real solid pickup.

He was a real solid defenseman before Toronto.

I hope Leaf retain half his salary so he can play somewhere else.

But I thought people were saying Finger was 'buried' in the minors. Or has this opinion changed becuase no one signed him to an NHL contract yet?

This is the best for both of us. Hopefully another team has interest in the guy.

Contract aside, Komisarek handled his situation as a pro, and deserves at least a bit respect.

and then I really don't think any of them deserve to be paid the mad money they get.

With all the Gm's and their scouts in town for the meetings, I would have thought putting Komisarek in tonight's game against the TBL, would have been a good time to showcase him.

The Marlies don't play until Friday and that's an away game, so I guess Komisarek and the Leafs are just trying to get him Ice time?

Even the most Feeble minds among us

Can now realize the incompetence of Burke, he lied about no trade clauses and no movement clauses, he signed guys you can't move even giving them no trades and no movements. Liles is another ex they can't move that contract. Any one who believes that Burke could have gotten five 1st rd picks at the dead line last year is just whistling in the wind. Burke is a Serial Liar and they turn to his hires to get them out of the Mess they helped create. The lineup is filled with mediocre talent with 5 year contracts who probably have NMC as well.

why would they call someone up to take Komi's place in the press box? they didn't lose a player they need to replace by doing this.

I'm assuming it's for tax sheltering purposes

He wasn't saying it to oppress her, at least I'm assuming that an accountant wouldn't take that approach

FINALLY - LOVE THAT NONIS HAS IN A FEW SHORT WEEKS CHANGED THE ENTIRE DYNAMIC OF THIS HOCKEY CLUB.

Glad Komi finally waived his NMC

Should have done so before we went on a five game losing streak and are now in a three way tie for 8th place...
