You haven't watched him this year, have you? There's a reason he hasn't been re-signed yet and it's because he may have been a one-year wonder.
He's playing with zero confidence and letting in LOADS of soft goals. His positioning has been awful and his rebound control atrocious. In 25 games his save % is .900 and his GAA is 2.86. He has 4 shutouts (1 since Feb. 18), otherwise is GAA 3.51. Since March 1 his save % is .880. He's given up 3 or more goals in 14 of his 25 starts. With a better backup he'd have a lot less games played this year. It's going to be a big gamble if he gets anything north of $3M over 3 years. He won't get it from the Coyotes so I'm not trying to scare everyone away so I can slip in and get him. Just be warned!

The Montreal Canadiens are very pleased to announce the signing of forward Jaromir Jagr to a $4,550,000 1 year contract with a full NMC.
It was a steep price to pay but we were able to afford it on a one year contract. Jagr had tremendous chemistry in the past with his friend and countryman Tomas Plekanec and we expect them to play on the same line next season. Jagr said multiple times that he would like to play in a market like Montreal and we are happy to give him this opportunity, especially since we are looking to be a contender next season.

The Islanders are very happy to announce that they have brought back defensemen Mark Streit and Lubomir Visnovsky. Streit got a 3 year deal at $4.5M per year, and Visnovsky signed a 2 year deal worth $3.75M per season. Both players were given no trade clauses.
