There were two Cats fans there, who were you? Old guy in white away jersey or big guy in red Weiss jersey?

Crazy thing is Markstrom made 44 of 45 saves and he is not even at his best yet! His rebound control improved as game went on

Give him another 30-40 games and he will be making such games into Shutouts

I don't care if he comes back. I'd like to improve the bottom 6 with more physical players, that is all. The Rangers are a perfect example of a team that doesn't hit and is soft. It makes a huge difference to have physical players on your bottom 6.

Congrats guys.

What a dumb play by Nash there... think he will get a suspension.

TJ Brennan has an issue defensively but I think it can be fixed. He stops skating in his own zone when he has the puck and he has to make a decision and he stops skating when he's trying to figure out where to be.

That "Inside The Panthers" with Guds was awesome.
Comparing footage from last season to this season, you can clearly tell he's concerned about his shoulder and not even close as physical.

Guess we gotta deal with it.

I think RR has to cut Skille some slack. The game-winner was a direct result of Skille driving the net. I was out and about so I missed most of the game, how did Howden look? I did see the Nash hit on Kopy. That's funny because if we did that, our guy would have gotten a five and a game, haha.

I have no issue with Skille if we're a tough team. Skille doesn't do a lot for me. He's like a poor man's Radek Dvorak. I think we can fill his spot with a better player, that is all.

Howden almost got lit up with a big hit going into the Rangers zone. Otherwise he was pretty unnoticeable.

Glad that Markstrom is playing well. One of my fav players not playing for my fav teams. What's the deal with his jersey number? Last year I saw him with 33(think that was given to him by the team) and then he was wearing 25(he usually wears that number right?) but then this season I noticed he was wearing 35. Is 35 his official number now or does someone else have 25? If I were to buy a jersey, get it with 35 or wait it out?

thanks

Panthers 3, Rangers 1. Arguably the worst loss since Tortorella got to New York.
What an airhead this guy is.

Lucky enough to be at the game tonight. Markstrom was extremely impressive. Never flustered. Every time there was a low shot, he redirected to the corner. Everything in the air he sucked in with no rebound. And the few times something was left around the crease, the Rangers just weren't collapsing and jumping on the puck (credit to the Panthers for keeping the Rags away from the net, but New York really played on the perimeter tonight).

There wasn't much to get excited about offensively. But hey. A win's a win.

Smithson wears #25. Maybe if he doesn't re-sign this off-season, Marky takes it.

I mean I know im always hopeful, but i feel i we can continue to streak together some wins here, we may just battle for a playoff spot. I mean 17 games left and 4 wins behind. Anything can happen, right?

100% true, exactly what I was thinking. The league is so biased towards all the major market teams its ridiculous.

I didn't either, but Dineen has this young team playing well. He is a good coach.

He keeps sucking the puck in like that I'm gonna nickname him the black hole. He was stellar tonight.
