Hanowski is 6th in scoring on St. Cloud...

Agostino was a 5th round pick in 2010 Leads the sarcastic powerhouse Yale in scoring.

How the heck did Feaster get a even worse return than the Bruins offer with the conditional pick? I don't get it.

TSN rarely messes up this badly. Kinda shocked. 'Tis a byproduct of the Twitter era.

This is (almost) like dealing Alfie for the same package... can you imagine how big the backlash would be on our end?

Reminder: Pens gave up more for Douglas Murray than they gave up for Jarome Iginla.

You could argue Iginla has even more value considering he's still good for several more years.

Flames havent begun rebuilding, we have studs like karlsson, cowen, silfverberg, zibanejad and more.

Sens can afford sending Alfie where ever he wants no matter the return. Flames needed some good value from the iggy trade to hit the ground running on their rebuild.

Out of Douglas Murray, Brendan Morrow, and Jarome Iginla... Iginla returned the least, IMO.

Some new user in the Pens forum adamantly said Iginla was going to be a Penguin even though he was confirmed to go to the Bruins. That guy took down (can't post anymore) a 2000+ poster by betting. It was epic.

I don't really think its the same. Alfie is older and while I think he has one more year in him, in an alternate universe where he got traded to a contender it'd probably be his final year. One last hurrah. This isn't the case with Iggy. He could play another 5 years and I don't think any of them will be with Calgary. We could trade Alfie for a conditional 7th and I'd be happy if he won the Cup. This trade needed to bring Calgary into a new era. I don't think this is the era they wanted or needed.

Man, I feel sorry for Flames fans, even though he's a UFA that's a terrible deal.

Sounds like Calgary got fleeced on this one. I thought sure Iggy was worth at least a 1st pick, a roster player plus a signed close to NHL ready prospect. 2 mid pick guys who might be a risk to never sign with Calgary are strange payback for Iggy.

I think that just shows how awesome Feaster is. Keep in mind that trade package that sent Phaneuf to Toronto.

Pittsburgh definitely surprising me with all these moves...they were good before and now have the talent to just be dominant if all pans out.

He was probably feeling pretty high after breaking that Semin deal. This blew up in his face. I wouldn't be surprised to see him demoted to Sportsnet by the end of the week.

Wow. The only way this can look worse on the Flames is if that first round pick has to go through waivers before they actually own it.
