Stuck at home until the actual procedure early next week. Had no puck in the hospital so trying to catch up. No work, no fire department activities (I am a local volunteer Firefighter), but worst of all, cant attend any Crunch games. I am on blood thinners and they dont want to take a chance on a bump or scrape as unlike Couminen, the thinner I am on has no easy way to reverse. Three games left and I am stuck at frigging home. At least Sunday is a TV game.
As Sinbin said, they tried to intentionally stop the heart but the old ticker would not go below 15 beats per minute. It was the oddest feelng when the meds they had given tried to kick in. All good then chest pressure like I cannot describe, hard to breathe, then it cleared and they went "Did not work".
So my reports are done until I get cleared, which may be first round as long as I get off the blood thinner. If not, no telling when.
It has been a great ride and we in Syracuse appreciate what the Bolts organization has done for hockey in tis town. It is nice to see Crunch gear on the streets again, even on non game days.
Thanks all!
Glad to hear your doing okay.

Has anyone been watching the QMJHL playoffs or seen the latest scoring leaders chart?

Kucherov with 18 points in 10 games and his team are in the semis . I really hope this level of play translates to the next level! Also worth noting, Drouin and MacKinnon each have 15 points in 8 games and play Kucherov in the semis, so it may worth losing the rest of the season to acquire a higher pick .

Wow that's awesome news! Congrats TJ, from undrafted to AHL MVP . He'll certainly be up with the big club full-time next season

Looks like Johnson will now be traded next year, not sure which goalie we will get for him.

TJohnny09 = hatty tonight. If you get a chance to see his 3rd goal. World class release picked a spot and smoked it by Gibson.

Dominating win tonight for the Crunch. Vladdy had a highlight reel goal. Johnny a hatty on the day he was rewarded with the MVP (Les Cunningham) award. Very excited for playoffs. Lee took a game misconduct and five minute major for a slash. I didn't see what he did but that sounds suspendable. Huge crop of talented forwards within the organization very entertaining to watch.

I read Vlad beat Hampus Lindholm to score alone on John Gibson. That's a lot of pedigree to score on in one play.

Also nice hatty for TJ!

I read that Riku is back in Finland dealing with a family issue. I think it's the second time this season he has traveled back there. Here is the article about Ceddy possibly in net for 3 in 3. http://blog.syracuse.com/crunch/2013...rdins_loo.html

Sort of led to wonder if Riku is just going to head back to Europe next year and Syracuse will roll with Janus and Vasilevskiy next year. For prospect development's sake, I think a lot of us would like to see that. I certainly don't think it would hurt Syracuse's chances in the meantime, as well.

I would love to see that. Let Janus and Vasya fight it out down there and let Bish and Lindy fight it out up here.

Dirty goal by Namestnikov. Also, he really reminds me of Grabovski after seeing him play for Toronto quite a bit over the years while I lived there.
