Palat and then Johnson with shorties. Insane. TJ is a monster since coming back. This makes 22 points in 9 games since coming back.

I'm listening to the game. It's amazing to hear how well Palat is playing. Matching Tyler Johnson for points. I honestly think that Palat is going to look like a huge steal in a couple years. All the slipping he did in his draft because he played with good players. I've always said that he is the player most missed when he's not in the game. The Crunch played like **** when he was injured.

Those kids are too good for the AHL. They were already tearing it up before they got a taste of the NHL, now the inferior competition just can't stop them. I'm expecting all 3 of them to make the Bolts next year.

In last years run TJ had 14 points (6G 8A) in 14 GP during the run to the Cup
It has only taken him 6 to match that total this year. (7G 7A)

Last year the top point getter was Alexandre Picard with 16 in 18GP
Palat and Johnson already have 15 and 14 respectively in 6.

#3-#9 on the scoring list (13P-10P) all have played 8-9 games.

The next Crunch is Panik with 7 points in the 6 games.

Whereas last year the top 4 scorers were all from the Admirals with Picard (16 in 18GP), Trevor Smith (16 in 18GP, Cory Conacher (15 in 18GP), and TJ (14 in 14GP).

What does that all mean? Basically what Matt said.

I'm actually considering not re-signing Pouliot to allow one of our prospects to come up. I suspect Yzerwin (do I get props for that or what?) is having the same discussion with his support staff.

Not lately

And I really think I'm the only one who doesn't want to see Pouliot go. I think he played quite well for us.

There ya go. I'm excited to see Palat and Johnson on the PK and potting a few shorties for us

I'm really looking forward to October - the 'cuse kids, Drouin (hopefully), and some yet-unnamed new d-man obtained for (_______). Good times!

God damn that line is nuts. That shot by Panik is NHL quality all day long. How about that play along the boards and pass by Palat? Jesus.

These guys need to be together in the NHL next season.

I would love to see that. One of the best 3rd lines in the NHL IMO

I would like for us to keep Pouliot too...before his injury, he was playing well in the top 6. 14 of his 20 points this season were before the injury. When he isn't trying to live up to being a 4th overall pick, I think he's a solid forward.

The goal and the pass from Palat are just sooo beautiful. The turn around on the board for the 3rd goal really looks like Palat playing against an 16 year old. We all see him as a beauty of a 3rd liner, but I start to think he could very well get even better. If the production would translate to the NHL, he would be so valueable to the team as he is an amazing SH-player and so strong defensivly.
If so we can only dream of a Killorn-VL4-Palat line. They would thrive the other players crazy on both sides of the ice....

This is not about him, he has done everything he can to get and deserve a new contract, but the young guys are still one step ahead IMO. After all I think 2 of Pouliot, Purcell and Malone will leave this summer and I really hope Purcell is the guy that stays, but if we trade him for D help Pouliot would be my guy.

You mean Palat's line. During the season when Palat was out, that line went to sleep. He's the straw that stirs the drink for that trio. Ask Sean Couturier.
