If the Wings sign Dekeyser they wouldn't trade him.

True, and they shouldn't be trading Sproul or Ouellet (Not sure who Outlett is ) either. Especially not on their own where their value is lowest, the only situation in which they should be traded now is in a package for a young NHL d-man with top 2 potential or a young top 6 center with size. Anything less than that and they'd be better off keeping them and hoping both of them reach their ceilings.

The way the league works, trade none of them...and they can't trade the Dekeyser cause he isn't signed.

The Wings 2nd round of the 2011 draft might go down as one of the best 2nd rounds ever. Both, if we did their draft over are top 15 picks. Sproul, because of his upside, probably higher. Sproul shouldve also been on the WJC team, but we all knew a certain other D received a spot who shouldnt have.

Dekeyser is a good prospect also, but the other two have legit shots at being top NHL players.

How about we let them play at least one professional game before making statements like this. Sproul and Oullet are good prospects, but they're hardly locks to be successful NHLers

As DKQ said--before we hail them as can't miss prospects--let them get out of junior

and if you are one of those posters who put weight into how HF ranks prospects for your team-look at where they are on the red wing chart.

BUt I do like how the wings brings their prospect where these guys, once out of JR willo be spending 2 to 4 years on the farm for proper development

Lol. Of course they would be top 15 picks, aren't they already under consideration for the hockey hall of fame?

Maybe one of them would end up being one of the top 3 picks in the 2nd round of the 2011 draft if the draft was done over. In the 2nd round Harrington, Rask, Jenner, Wotherspoon and Saad we're drafted and it's far from a given that your draft picks are better then them.

none of them

currently the DRW blueline is among the youngest in the NHL and really beyond Kronwall lacks any real aces.

their is absolutely no justification for trading one of our dman prospects/prospects-to-be, as our goal should be to collect and hoard as many as possible in hopes to find at least ONE stud.

dumbest idea ever
