Maybe the only argument I will ever win between her and I.
My boyfriend is a Habs fan too and we actually got in a fight because he kept saying Subban is a selfish bum that yells at the coaches.

ive always fantasized about meeting a girl who is a leaf or bruins fan and once shes madly in love with me I tell her my only condition is if she burns all her teams souvenirs and clothing in a forest. I will than place a habs blanket on the ground and we make love as her old stuff burns to*ashes only feet away

Lol.

Here's the story. At the grocery store we shop at there is a sticker vending machine that has NHL team stickers for a dollar. It became tradition that every time we went grocery shopping we would get one of them.. trying to get the habs. I got about 50 of them and never got the f'en habs one. Got toronto and boston like 3 times and pittsburgh a bunch of times so I stuck the pittsburgh ones on the cats things.. litterbox, cat house ect.

So he is a penguins fan.

My GF is a Habs fan but her whole family are Nordiques fans (yeah I know, fans of a phantom team).

Send a message via ICQ to Gros Bonhomme
My girlfriend is a Sens fan. She grew up in Ottawa and moved here a few years back. She knows her hockey quite a bit and she likes rubbing me the wrong way every now and then.. especially when we play them. Doesn't take long for her to shut up when I remind her they're an expansion team playing in Kanata and they never won anything.

God I love her

Yeah that's fcking terrible, this guy needs an intervention.

On a side note whether people chose to like this hockey team or not or simply are born into liking a team does not make the whole process a statement.

Although I firmly believe that french-Canadian Bruins fans suck. I can't base my opinion on someone by the team they like.

I purposely try to find girls that are Leafs or Bruins fans. Why you may ask? Simple...

Habs lose= She rubs it in your face but feels bad later= pity sex

Habs win= You're team won, hence you being the victor and bigger person = Victory sex

It's win/win.

Having sex with a girl wearing a B's or Laughs jersey after a win or a loss is quite an arousing idea. Just saying.

My wife was indifferent for years, which was a great distraction while the Habs were mediocre. Then three years ago our ECF run with Halak turned her into a raving hockey zealot. Life has become somewhat intense at our house during game time. The kids quietly duck into their rooms. Neighbours draw their blinds. Local security is alerted. Like most converts, she hasn't yet mastered the nuances of the game, so she's loud and very angry every time we make a bad pass or allow the opposition into our zone. The screaming "NOOOOOO!!!!!" that happens multiple time a game could easily be mistaken for domestic violence, which is why our den has a video feed to the police.

Tomorrow is her birthday. She wants to go to a bar and watch the game. That part is serious.

As long as you don't get called for offside when you enter the zone.

I have lived in Ontario for the past ten years. I'm surrounded by such people. My sister lives in boston. I visit her pretty often. Let's just say I have lots of practice. That said, I would never waste a ticket on a leaf or bruin fan (my sister isn't the latter, she has been forced to wear the PK shirt I gave her. Somehow she has survived it). Much rather go to a game where I can Olé with my pals.

Recently I went to the ACC for the first time and it was AWEEEEESOME (not the ACC itself), in that there were tons of Habs fans, the leaf fans were so easy to shut down and, of course, 5-2 Habs. One guy in particular who I was having a chirp war with was particularly vocal until he started crying.

its simple really. I was married to a leaf fan....DIVORCED THAT!

My current wife didn't even like hockey. One game at the Bell Centre and BAM! Instant hockey fan....and more importantly a HABS Fan!

Gf has little interest in hockey. Prob only knows Carey Price on the team and may not even know his position.

I will bring her to a game one day and like Halifaxhab did with his lady. Might work.

That's very specific, and disturbing.
