We need to answer this trade with an upgrade on our squad for sure.

Agreed. He would have been far better off with the Pens. Or us, of course

we don't need to answer this trade iggy is a washed up bum can hardly move anymore, still has a nice shot but that's it, after playing with the flames so long he will struggle to find his place on the bruins. No worries

I think im going to puke watching Iggy in a Bruins jersey.

That said what a terrible and dumb deal by the Flames. 2 marginal prospects and a conditional 1st ? What the ****ing **** ??!?

Calgary is condemned to years of mediocrity. Their prospect pool is below average and they can't even trade their face of the franchise for something decent. Im glad im not a Flames fan or i would be pretty depressed tonight. Its going to take some radical **** to turn thing around

After tonight's game, we really really need some help on the backend, either to play beside markov or bouillon. I think we can live without a significant addition upfront, assuming prust will be back soon and maybe bourque for the playoffs.....And btw, we should resign ryder.

The iginla trade makes me sick to my stomach

You guys be the judge here

Kochalev 7.5C -- Kristo 7.5C
Bartowski 6.5C -- Didier 6.5C
Cond.1st bruins -- Cond. 1st Habs

Whats worth more? Maybe adding iggy/preventing bruins from adding him would have been worth a contemplation atleast.

I would be calling up feaster hardcore about bouwmeester...giordano...etc...unbelieveable how incompetent he is.

Like I said in the OT thread, aside from Clowe, I'd look into Glencross from CGY. He's on an outstanding contract and his like Moen but with more skill! At 2.5 a year!

I'd say Koko has similar value to Collberg.

Go after Jagr and Clowe:

Ryder - Plekanec - Jagr
Pacioretty - Desharnais - Gallagher
Galchenyuk - Eller - Clowe
Moen - Halpern - Prust

I don't know where to fit Gionta.

Habs need defensmen. Markov is playing way too many minutes a night. Tinordi isn't ready. Habs for the most part played with 5 dmen tonight.

Ward just lost ALL shreds of credibility on live television. Awesome! He was a puke as a player.

Gotta little egg on there, Aaron.

I usually just lurk here but I just had to post after tonight!
Not only does boston lose tonight, their fans get all hyped up for HOURS for Iginla and even a "confirmation" only to be slapped in the face!
I LOVE IT!

Didn't see the Aaron Ward fiasco, but from what I read so far, Iginla switched at the last minute telling Feaster he would only go to Pits... A bum move in my mind...
