Yeah, I would be pretty happy with Hopkins. And it's really nothing new on the mock drafts, every year the "experts" mock us the best DT available, like Fletcher Cox or Dontari Poe, and some were arguing for Dareus over Cam two years back
Dontari Poe...another guy I wanted nothing to do with. A dude who wasn't great in his college career, but did well at combine tests and therefore was amazing.
But Nuk, though. Hands. Want want want want want. I'm actually watching a Sport Science video on him, and he made 48 consecutive one-handed catches.
I'm not sure who I want the Panthers to take. As others have pointed out, there are so many holes to fill.
Personally, I don't see SS89 on the roster one year from now if the Panthers don't make the playoffs, and even then, WR is definitely going to have a big priority in the next 1-3 years.
This draft class is kind of strange compared to most others when your top 5 picks are usually 2 QB's, a WR/RB, and a defensive player. Most experts seem to think the Chiefs will take Luke Joeckel. There may not be any QB's/WR's/RB's taken until late in the top ten at the earliest.
As long as the Jaguars wind up with Sharrif Flloyd or Dion Jordan (preferibly Jordan) I'll be happy (I might be okay with Dee Milliner to, though I doubt he goes that high). Nothing crazy or off the wall Mr. New GM
NFL Network scared me today. Some fool mocked us whichever LT (Joeckel//Fisher) KC doesn't take.
Eugene Monroe certainly isn't an All-Pro but he's more than competent. LT is one of the few spots we don't need help in.
