I think they are kind of fugly...
They get big points for using something other than black but I dont like that shade of green and the logo is just lazy design IMO.

Yeah I hate it. Slap a D on a star, and call it a day. Absolutely unnecessary.

The more I look at them, the more I like them, but yeah, that logo just doesn't work. Glad to see an NHL team actually using green though.

Carolina's uniform changes make no sense.

Put the Blackhawks logo on the green jersey and you get Chicago's St. Patrick's day jersey.

Sam Gagner is 23 and he's had 5 Oilers coaches in his time there. We worry about Sacco hindering our young guys, it can't be much better having this kind of circus going on behind the bench and upstairs.

That's ridiculous. Can't be the best thing for development.

Krueger was in Davos when he was informed via Skype that he was no longer the Head Coach of the Edmonton Oilers.

Classy move by the Oilers, didn't even have the common courtesy to do in person and face to face. Feel bad for Kruger, he did a decent job despite it being his 1st year on the job, lack of training camp and little to do with in terms of actual talent on the team. I hope he gets another chance and proves the jokers in Edmonton wrong.

Dallas Eakins will be introduced as the Oilers Head Coach tomorrow.
Will be interesting to see how he does. Management is under big pressure there.

Why do you think that? Lowe has continually run the organization into the ground and not only got to retain power within the organization, he replaced his lackey GM with the coach the lackey GM fired a few years earlier. Katz continues to prove that when it comes to running the Oilers, he hasn't a ******* clue.

Predators re-sign Roman Josi to a seven year deal for $28-million. Big money for a defenceman few know much about.
Good deal with potential to be very good deal for Preds imo.

Confirmed word out of Montreal and NY is #Canadian P.K Subban will be announced during Cup final as the winner of #NHL 2013 Norris trophy.

Not my top choice but good for him. He had a great season.

It'll push up his salary demands too. Now he's going to make Doughty money.

If there was ever any doubt that the Norris Trophy is essentially the Art Ross Trophy for defensemen, this should dispel said doubt.

I thought he was very good defensively for them. Made a huge improvement this season. You do have a point though with Karlsson and Subban winning it in back to back years.

Defensively Suter was more important for his team than Subban. It really seems to go to the top point producer.

I'd kind of like to see the players judged equally for their offensive and defensive play.

Or alternatively, have an award for best defensive defenseman, ala Selke Trophy for forwards.

Suter was my top choice for the Norris this season.

Even the Selke Trophy has changed now. You have to put up a lot of points in order to win it. Guys like Draper and Madden would have no shot at it now.

He hasn't been playing hard enough minutes to get the Norris. Should have been Suter.

PK is a good defenseman, but not a norris quality one.
