Last season the CFL started out on ESPN3, which my ISP blocks.

In July and August, I'd rather watch a CFL game that counts than an NFL preseason game where the entire second half is played by the third to nineteenth stringers.
The CFL has yet to announce the US broadcast schedule as far as I know.

As someone who lives a few hours away from the Washington/B.C. border, I was not happy that the CFL coverage on CBC ended a few seasons ago. Since the switch to TSN, CFL coverage in the U.S. has been hit or miss, depending on the market and the media network.

Last season, the NBC Sports Network (cable TV channel) aired 14 CFL games. The network also aired the Grey Cup last November. I have no clue if the last season's broadcasts were, at the very least, a moderate success.

Personally, I hope the contract between CFL/TSN and NBC Sports Network is renewed for 2013 season. If last year's press release from NBC Sports Network is any indication, a renewal announcement might happen until a few weeks after the CFL season starts.

ESPN3.com carries CFL games. I use it when I go to the states.

Are there any particular reason TSN can't/doesn't offer a paid online service (and specifically for international markets)?

NFL network carried CFL games in the US in 2011.

Last year NBCSN carried it:

2013 hasn't been announced yet:

The reason is that Bell is terrible.

I understand the details of the most recent TSN contract are not available. Hopefully, it will allow even the weak sisters to break even.

Our little league has come a long way from the days when the NFL had to loan us money to survive. Perhaps, one day, we will have to return the favour (smile).

Love the CFL! Love Ottawa making it 9. Love the idea of the Argos and Ti-Cats being self sufficient.

GO CFL GO!!!
