Morin & Saad scoring. I would like to have them in our system.

5-0 Hawks. All of their goals coming from secondary scoring (Frolik, Morin, Saad). Saad in particular, 3 points (2+1). The 'Hawks would be my pick to come out of the West.

Frolik only has an assist

It is nice to see the youth the Hawks have on roster and in system

Morin = Goal
Hayes = Assist
Saad = 2 goals + 1 assist

And just today Danault/Mcneill (Both 2011 1st rounders) were assigned to Rockford

Future is bright

Obviously for the Cup as well because the East is so so turrble & the good teams are only good because they get to beat up on the Panthers.

haha. In seriousness, it wouldn't surprise me if they won the Cup as well. Talented, not to mention deep, team.

i think the Ducks really have their number. the Hawks can out skill nearly everyone but are kind of soff. of course, it remains to be seen if both will get to the conference final.

Someone tell Detroit that they are still in the conference that plays defense for now.

So Stamkos needs 11 points in 14 games to beat Sid. Lets hope he doesn't. Schedule;

Florida (Easy games) * 2
Carolina * 2
Islanders
Washington *2
Ottawa
Pittsburgh
Buffalo
Winnipeg
Montreal
Boston

Can see him breaking that.

Legit point. The Hawks do appear to be the better team on paper, but the game is played on ice. It should be intriguing to see how far both teams go.

Honestly, I don't see how he doesn't. And if by some miracle he doesn't, I can't see how St. Louis or Kane don't.

Kane needs 14 points in 14 games
St. Louis needs 13 points in 14 games

So for Sid's point totals to be enough to win the Art Ross, all three of Stamkos, Kane, and St. Louis would have to produce well under their current pace. Heck, even Kunitz has a shot at passing Sid, assuming Kunitz maintains his spot on the top PP unit.

It helped tremendously that Kane was held without a point today, even though Chicago scored 7 goals. But even with his pointless game, Kane only has to produce at a point per game pace the rest of the way.

Detroit is not Detroit of old this year. Not a good measuring stick team right now. Chicago was 5-5-0 in their last 10 coming into today's game. Great, deep team, but lets not pretend that they are beating everyone like they did to Detroit today.

Can't read into Chicago - Detroit result too much. Just one of those games for Detroit. They folded like a tent early in the game. Chicago clearly a better team but Detroit isn't as bad as they looked (consequently Chicago not as dominant as they looked).

I've got a sick feeling in my stomach that the Flyers are going to do it and get in.

Talbot just went off injured. Knee looked bad.

If they get in you just know they'll beat us.

Don't think it was a knee. I think he got sliced like Karlsson did from Green's skate.

Awful to see. They had to have two trainers carry him down the runway with both legs off the ground.

Somebody call Eugene Melnyk.

Seriously though, that sucks for Max. I can't hate him after the goals he scored in game 7 even if he is a Flyer now.

They just showed a better angle and I didn't see a skate catch him, fortunately. The original view from Comcast was above the rink at the other end.

He reacted a lot like Karlsson did, but it could be his knee, as Shrimper said.

Talbot was hit knee on knee, and later in play, Green's skate may have cut the back of Max's leg. Still waiting for medical update.

I will cheer for any of the other 28 teams if it means a Flyers loss. I do want the Pens having anything to do with them in the playoffs.
