Looked to me like Smith had possession of the puck. Taking goalie interference out of it, it didn't look like much of a charging penalty to me... Still, I wouldn't be surprised if the wheel stops at 2-3 games.
First of all, I'll be pissed if he even gets a bill for it let alone an actual suspension, I'm not going to say, well at least he only had to pay a little cash, its absurd hes even getting a phone call unless its just to give him a tongue lashing.
Obviously its more than that but I think its stupid and the NHL needs to take one serious look at how they do their jobs.
