Zykov has top-10 skill and I think any team that gets him is getting a gem. Wicked shot.
Jason Dickinson of the Guelph Storm. As of CSS' January list, they have him as the #16 North American Skater.. ahead of Curtis Lazar, Nikita Zadorov, Kerby Rychel, Max Domi. But considering this is CSS, I wouldn't look too far into that.
He's strong on the PK and isn't afraid to block shots. He has solid stick-handling abilities and is a great skater. He could put on a bit more weight, not much though (currently 176 at 6'2".)
I could see him being a 2nd line winger at most.. Could be a 25-30 pick come June, but might slip to the 2nd round.
Lack of Jason Dickinson is greatly unsetttling and questionable.
I think he is way too highly rated in another list, which only makes his absence from here conspicuous.
You ask me who looks like a better prospect now, I'd say Baptiste (1 inch shorter, far stockier), better skater, better scorer and he's a fifth rounder?
Any of the OHL draft guys listed round 3 to 5 I find just as good as Dickinson. No idea why he is so high.
He's had 9 goals since November 2nd, that does not exactly endear him to the scouts. His offense has dropped off the map in the second half of the year. He was riding a great start to the year (19 in 17 games) and has followed that up with 28 in his next 49. That hardly screams first round.
When was the last time they took his height? He's 17 years old, so it's possible he could have grown a bit since then.
This. As far as I know his height listing hasn't changed in close to a year at the least. Drouin is within quarters of inches +/- of 5'11" and at the start of the season until now Mac has been noticably taller. And as other poster buddy said, 6' and Mac's a bit taller. I've found the height/weight attributes odd this year actually for this reason
