Without the Habs, Sabres would be a lottery pick team right now guaranteed to be sellers. With the Habs they have the mirage of still having a shot at a playoff spot as we approach the deadline.

Do they think its freaking pond hockey? No intensity or grit in their game. NOT winning games like that.
I have to say I don't agree. In the first period especially, we were all over them and have had easily 5 open nets where we just couldn't bang it in, combined with Miller playing lights-out.

I think we are too used to being a good team to realize we are indeed outplaying the other team! I think the shots are indicative of the better team tonight. Two very unlucky situations resulted in two beauty goals by the Sabres. That's hockey, and sometimes it's ****ing frustrating.

Miller has been ridiculously lucky, but you got to be good to be lucky,

Watching this game makes me realize how frustrated Pens and Wash must have been after their games in the 2010 playoffs.

If Price had the same stats but flopped like Hasek or Thomas, I think some comments against him would have never been said.

A lot of people don't like that Price doesn't make saves look entertaining. Besides that.. I don't even know how anyone can use this game as an argument against Price. He's been stellar.

I'm not taking any side on the debate with this post really. But it seems like those who tend to dislike Price so easily, is largely because of how boring he plays.

That hit was clean, I don't think you know what boarding is. Pk sent the puck into the glass and that was clear, the angle he shot the is the only proof I need.

Agreed ELB

were dominating and were the better team

and two bad bounces go the sabres way and its 0-2

it happens, i dont want to give up on the game but you gotta put those 2 **** goals behind us and move on, preferably to a 3 goal 3rd period, if not, gimmie a point, if not, move onto Boston-Pittsburgh back to back with a chip on our shoulders

We're not winning because we try to make the perfect play... We don't crash, we don't bang.

We're playing Kovalev hockey ATM.
Tribute to him?

Stellar is fighting through traffic not just standing there and dropping to your knees like a cheap hooker, He doesn't even throw his arms up, He lets them down by his side.

When people are in front of your net, especially when your a goalie, SLASH them, push them, fight through screens..

What is up with these new age goalies, Bunch of ******* if you ask me.

Habs are so not physical it's become sickening at this point. They can't go back in the game with good hits and dropping the gloves and so forth. It's just one part about hockey but it's a complete non-issue with this team. It's never a possibility.

They called interference on Blunden, not boarding.

PK's clear hit the boards. They showed a replay and stopped it as it was on the boards.

Nice try though.

I hate to agree with you, but you're right.

Atleast without Prust/Bourque in.

Is this the last game against the Sabres this year? They're like an hemorrhoid on the Habs butt.
