Chicago vs. St. Louis - 04.27.13

Sitting...Toews, Kane, Hossa, Sharp, Keith, Seabrook & Hjalmarsson.

I guess it will be the Hogs vs. the Blues.

Saad scores 6,000 goals and Hutton pitches a shutout.

Like to see Morin>Pirri>Smith kept together and get a lot of ice. Stanton and Clendening too. Hope Monty doesn't lose an edge and have one of his spectacular blowouts.

I hope our AHL squad we put out there wipes the floor with their top guys. All the crap I got from Blues fans about how much better they were than us at the beginning of the season. How the tables have turned...

hope Saad scores some points and ends up with more points than Huberdeau. Would want to stick it to the panthers fans and straight into their fans faces

Hawks coaching remembers the last St. Louis game and noped all over this one. Smart move IMO.

Looking forward to catching a little bit of this, want to see how the Hogs stack up.

Other than the fact that we're playing half the ice hogs team, and Hutton is in goal. And we're on the road. Other than all that though, I don't see a reason we can't either.

Not saying we will lose for sure, but there's plenty of reasons we could.

May be the Blues can finally score a goal for home fans this season on fan appreciation night against the Chicago Icehogs. Blackhawks have shut them out 2-0, 3-0 in the 2 games this season in St. Louis.

fingers crossed one off the young guys tries to make a name for himself and goes after backes, polak, or jackman

Wonder who will wear the As with all of our captains sitting this one out. Hope Saad gets one.

Really anxious to see this game with Hutton and some of the Rockford guys playing against the Blues big guns as they battle for playoff positioning. Gonna have to watch it on DVR though...I'm going to the Sox game tonight.

Moore vs Floyd tonight ,,, Yikes don't see the Sox walking away with W

Hopefully Adam Dunn sits or something so the Sox may have hope of getting more then a strikeout from DH spot and so fans don't have to watch the bum

Honestly - Harold Baines bobblehead drew me to this game Baines was my favorite player when I grew up and the bobblehead has him in the old 1983 era uniform. Couldn't pass that up. This will be a great decoration next to my Toews bobblehead on my tv stand

As for the game...yeah I know it doesn't look all that hot. The Sox aren't going to have a very good year, and i've kind of accepted that already. They can get rid of Dunn anytime now as far as I'm concerned. I still kind of like Gavin Floyd though.

I know Beach has been a tool and not really deserving..but why wouldn't they just play him and see what he has to show at this level?

Aliu didn't look that great as a prospect a few years ago, but he looks like he can be a depth player at least, with some snarl. Kind of bugs me a bit, but I guess they have their reasons.

Floyd always struggles at start of year ,, Will get hot in May/June/July when his curve works

Hopefully they are sellers this year at deadline

Because he hasn't shown any reason to deserve such a chance and playing a meaningless final game of season is on par with preseason hockey so him drawing in today means nothing as far as showing it at this level

Aliu is only playing in NHL right now because of how poor the Flames depth is and there system is at AHL level. He is a 4th liner in AHL who is playing in NHL for a failing organization

against any other team, i'd be worried about the score getting ridiculous...but luckily the blues are so un-skilled offensively that i doubt any loss will be a blow out.

Right

Then a new scouting staff and GM would be a good idea after that. Tired of the horrid drafting.

But I'm derailing this Hawks thread, so back to the Hawks/Blues

The game isn't meaningless for St. Louis, so it will be nothing like a preseason game.

And Aliu looked like he can handle the NHL according to last night and what I saw last year. He may be a 13th forward on a lesser team, but he can still play. Beach is better than him, so maybe he can play on an everyday 4th line, worth a try deserving or not. Make the team better in the future, he'll grow up.

I really hope one the Hogs decides to become famous and jacks Backes, Jackman, their goalie, or their coach. I don't care who they go after just as long as they go after a Blue and whip them
