Chicago is gonna go 45-0-3 and then go 16-0 in the playoffs. It's official.

thought we were going to go a whole night without a 3 point game. Vancouver/STL ruined that.

Linesman: "Looks legit."

Powe is on IR with a concussion from that collision last night.

Jonas Hiller with 2 no-look saves in the same sequence, including a glove stop with his back to the shooter.

******* what is the linesman looking at on that play. Wonder how the explanation went with the Nashville bench.

From McKenzie:

Linesman obviously was aware Duchene preceded puck over blueline but mistakenly believed NSH, not COL, played puck into zone.
7:56pm - 18 Feb 13

WTF does that even mean? It's still offsides, isn't it? In fact it did bounce off a Nashville player but still should be offsides, or is that a rule I don't know about??

If a player from your own team plays the puck back into your zone it is not offsides then. Only when your player plays the puck into the zone while your teammate is over the line it's offside.

I always thought offsides was nullified if the defending team played the puck back into their own zone. However, I also thought it had to physically be played back and not deflected as it was. So... Idk.

Rule 83.1:
Quote:
If a player legally carries or passes the puck back into his own defending zone while a player of the opposing team is in such defending zone, the off-side shall be ignored and play permitted to continue.
Google, it's what we cool posters use ... when MSE is unavailable, of course.

People believe that 55 points(or around there) will qualify you for the playoffs. Now the Flyers have 31 games remaining, and sit with 15 points. in order for us to get to 55 points, we need to go 17-11-3 or around that marker. Not impossible by any means, but can you see this team playing that well? Especially with the schedule and our match ups?
