Leafs and Ducks? Recently there seems to be a good amount of trades between the two and it helps that Burke whose now a scout for Anaheim again is close with Nonis... Idk, I can't think of anybody else for the Leafs...
I think we get along pretty well with other fanbases in general. Nashville is a friendly place; miss it :/
I'd be more than happy to keep the DevilPred alliance going strong. Absolutely dying to get to a game in Nashville sometime soon.
I've never been in the city during hockey season - absolute must for me.
A lot of posters nailed my feelings for teams and fan bases as a Canucks fan.
Always had mutual respect for Sabres and Habs out east, even before the Bruins series.
Its a little harder out west but I've always liked the Preds and Jackets. I think the Preds vs Canucks series was the first playoff series ever I would have been okay with to lose. Classy and genuinely nice fans.
The only pet peeve I've ever had with the Preds was the lady who brought a vuvuzela to the home games in 2011 but it was pale in comparison to the happiness the constant shots of Underwood brought me.
No, and I think I'm not alone, I always try to watch Flyers games to see Simmonds and Schenn and Gagne and even the Schenn brothers together. I'm sure you guys were pulling for the Kings last year to beat New Jersey because of Mike and Richie.
I watched your game last night and it was a bummer.

Yes, I consider them generally well informed and good sports, as well as their announcers being fair and mostly square.
The team just south of us however, does not meet the above minimum criteria.
If we both make the playoffs again this year, someone needs to photoshop in a "Preds" over the "Dogs" and replace the duck / stork in the upper left with the combined NJD/NSH logo from last year's playoffs. Could toss Suter and Parise's faces on the dogs and put a hungry Shea Weber with beard of doom in there somewhere for good measure.
Then again, I think a lot of people kinda like the Predators. They have had pretty good success since entering the league, and have had some star players that will attract eyes. (Kariya, Forsberg, Weber)
So I guess the CBC is just suppose to kowtow to the Jets fans and schedule their team in the 7pm EST slot when they haven't even proven that they can draw anywhere near the national viewership like the Leafs do?
I bet all of their advertisers and sponsors would have something to say about that.
CBC is a public national broadcaster, all eastern teams should get an equal number of games broadcast nationally at 7 est, and all western teams should get an equal number of games broadcast nationally at 10 est.
And yes, the media playing favourites with the Leafs does cause a lot of people to hate them.
The Penguins and Canes have a very amicable relationship, both professionally and the fan bases. I think it's safe to say the Ron Francis factor plays into that...that and there are a ton of Pittsburgh transplants in the Raleigh area.
The Pens and Blue Jackets also get along, mostly since the Penguins seem to have been the most common favorite team of hockey fans from before - leading to a lot of people being fans of both teams.
Both are on the chopping block next year as they enter our division.
Personally, I cannot stand Carolina. With that said; I see your point.
