Offense from a defencemen is a bonus. He plays solid defence and he will put up a good amount of points as a D-man and I'm sure his offensive game will come around even more. I would take a defensive guy like Aaron Ekblad over an offensive guy like Seth Jones any day of the week, twice on sunday.

Except for Seth Jones is elite defensively as well.

He's previous was a bit of a disspointment because he was looking to go top 5 in the draft, now he's just a lock for 1st round. Think he was the youngest in the WJC last time around or one of them..

Seth Jones didn't look very elite defensively in the Memorial Cup when Nathan MacKinnon blew by him multiple times and let him get a hatty in both games they played against eachother. He looked pretty bad again when Seth Griffith passed it back through Jones's legs to Max Domi for that ridiculous between the legs saucer pass to Bo Horvat.
